there are several reason why the Blue screen appear... mostly are due to windows corruption.. solution just format and reinstall windows again, other possibilities are hardware failure that are causing the problem... then you will have to troubleshoot which devices has failed... another possibilities virus... lastly... windows sucks....:crazyboy: i remember one of my friend send me a clip where bill gates and one guy was trying to install a scanner or what into win95 and this blue screen came out... bravo bill gates.... :rockman:

Gotta hate the blue screen. Iv'e found that it mainly happens with Win 2000.

Usually means it's time for a reformat anyway.

The blue screen is pretty much easy to understand.

The row of numbers are the address of the hardware that has failed. I had allot of blue screens with Windows 98se and traced that the address was linking the problem back to my graphics card which was too new to work with 98. I ended up buying XP shortly after and never had another blue screen as of yet but with moving to University I only get on my computer at home a maximum of once a month. My Uni home computer works fine with 2000 pro though
