I need to see what it looks like without edits to the imported tournament though.

One think to check is that when you import the tournaments, in the import window both boxes should be checked in the tournaments options pane (labeled "Database tournament info" and "Trophy").

Useless, they are all checked.

This is what the tournament for the national division (Blue Square Premier) looks like in my CM:

See, the League Id in your CM (500) corresponds to Asset Id\League Id. Can't figure out how to make it in my Tournament.
And another thing. I'm not sure about Wembley as Final Stadium. Open Coca-Cola or Championship Tournament - it's left blank. And this is how it should be, because Blue Square Premier is not a cup, it's not even a playoff, it's a league! No Final Stadium.

One more bug. Blue Square Premier and North/South playoffs import as separate tournaments with their own trophies. Why?
All our tournaments shoud look like Coca-Cola Two, One etc. I created Coca-Cola One cmp with CM09, opened patch.xml and compared it structure to our patch.xml. They are different...

Open CM09, go to Tournaments, open Hidden League 298 (Blue Square Premier), take a screenshot and post it here via imageshack.

I will look into this difference, it could be important. The football league playoffs are also different tournaments, listed as "League One Playoffs" for League 1, ect.

I will also make Vauxhall Motors kits since the home is the same template as Stafford's away.

I have install FIFA09 from zero and import all the cmp files from the patch in order. I try to rename the 3 hidden leagues but don't work and don't appear in the tournament game. Only appears the Setanta Cup.

hon3ydrip70, your first step: CM09--> Tournament---> Blue Square Premier Playoff. Export trophy graphic somewhere. You will need it later. Then go to Hidden League 298 and follow the instructions (step 2, step3 etc)

Your Hidden League 300 is Blue Square North, Hidden League 301- Blue Square South. They have correct trophy graphics, do not import them!!

scout: I used the right trophy graphic, all 3 tournaments use assett id 0 in his game so the last national trophy was overwritten with the north and then the south graphic. Also the Assett/League id should be 500 (may need the trophy to be reimported. This is so it links with the league. This is a possible cause of the career crashing. Good idea about making play-off trophy graphics.

gooner: You need to expand your database in CM before installing the patch for the font to work. Also I have updated some of the generic gk kits to the correct colours and added some new kits for the next version.

The tournament problem needs to be solved first, and also the remaining kits need to be completed (I think the only pack nobody is working on is Braintree Town). Thanks for the screenshots, they have given me some information but not enough to determine the problem.


I think I will try and make a new cmp for the tournaments, maybe it will make a difference. I will pay close attention to the export process as maybe I made a mistake somewhere.

Well guys!
Good news!!!
Now, all the tournaments works fine in my FIFA09, only the manager mode crash when i started a new competition and choice a team from Blue Square.
I have made a updated from the AFC Wimbledon AWAY kit and put to all, see above. Please, use collar 7, ok. Only AWAY.

Sure, all English leagues are linked. Pick one of the Blue Square teams and climb up to the Premier League.
Just pay attention that it's a beta version, it needs to be tested. Right now not everything runs smoothly.

Scouser, could you tell me the correct dates for the Shield and FA Cup rounds?

Good news! Was it the asset/league link that was problem? Just the problem now of getting the tournaments to import properly. If I can not find a solution soon I might start a new thread to seek help. If this is not successful we will just have to include instructions on how the fix each league manually. I also suspect that some data was not exported to the xml files in the cmp, for example I can not find any references to the final stadium. Good trophy graphics by the way.

The FA Cup and Setanta Shield both imported correctly didn't they? I will update the dates and release an update. If you can not wait:

I think you need to set a date range of about 2 weeks for each round and remember that I have used 2 rounds for the 1st round of the FA Cup.
