Bookings/offsides issues

I started a manager game and have a team selected. Before I did this in MyFifa I changed the game settings for no Bookings and no offsides. But now when I play there are still bookings. Why is this and how do I turn them off and offsides also??

Thanks

If you change the settings in My Fifa from the main menu it doesn't effect the manager mode settings. It only effects the kick off matches. Try to access My Fifa from inside manager mode and go to game settings from there. If that doesn't work you cant change the bookings and offsides.

Arghhh That is not right.

I did go into myfifa in manager mode and it does not even give it as an option. :(

I thought that there was a way to do it, that I was just missing.

Yep. Ok so If I get a yellow card how does this card thing work? If you get a red how long are you out for etc...??

Thanks

The yellow cards accumulate across games until a player reaches a limit defined for each competition at which point they get a one match ban. In fact, the number of cards is only kept in two categories - domestic and international (eg. ECC, EFA) - so if you are playing in England in the Prem, for instance, then the yellow cards you get in league matches plus those in the League Cup and the English (FA) Cup are tracked and once you reach five, which is the limit for all three of those competitions, you get a ban. This works roughly the same way in all countries, but the limit differs, so in the Brazilian competitions it is only three and in Italy just two.

Two yellows in the same game is equivalent to a single red, and in either case you get an immediate one match ban.

ok where is the amount set at for yellow cards that equal a red card? I have two with yellow cards now and I subbed them out for the next game so does this make them go to 0 after that game?

If you get a red card in a game and get kicked are you a man down for the rest of the game? If I get three guys with red does this mean I am three down? In therory I could have 1 guy left???

Thanks

Yes, if you get a red, you are not allowed to replace that man. So, if you get three reds, you are playing three men down.

Regarding only having one man left, I have not tried this in FIFA06, but in earlier versions of FIFA, EA wrote the game so that you could never have more than 3 men get reds. After the third red card, you could foul all you want and the ref would never hand out a 4th red card. I haven't tried this in FIFA06 yet, but it might be fun.

Ok cool. I will test it out. So after red card out for that game and one more.

With yellow cards if I get one in the game and goto the next how long until it is gone? One game or longer?

The yellow cars continue untill you accumilate enough to get a red card. For example in the epl if you get 5 yellows it converts into a red card. Which means a one match ban and the yellow cards go back to zero.

I'm pretty sure that after 3 reds, you get DQed from the match. Not only in FIFA 06 but real life as well.

Now if I get a red card then get wait a game ban then come back get another wait a game and do this for say 6 games, Is there a limit of red cards in a season to get you a perm boot?

Thanks
