Bootraptor 1.2 is broken

I have had nothing but problems with this piece of ****. You install FIFA, then the boot raptor, assign a player some new boots.. start the game. The player doesn't have the boots I assigned to him, so I exit out and try to assign again but boot raptor won't load his profile anymore: "run-time error '75':"

Now i can't even load FIFA, i get into the game, and as soon as I try and load the match it crashes out.. how great is that..

Is anyone else having these problems with bootraptor?

Fotsoigor, mate, if u assign in the boot raptor, make sure u dont edit the boots ingame, (before u assign) and if u did, delete the D. Squads file in the Fifa folder (my doc).
After that , u have to restart the career . But if u assign the boots before u start the career, it'll work. :rockman:

I tried both by installing boot raptor (v1.1 and v 1.2) and running the game and also with manually using the fatbhbuilder, but the players I assigned new boots to still have their old ones. Any ideas? Thanks!

yo man try being more appreciating towards the pple who make these useful progs. :)

You may not be directing this to me, and maybe toward the thread creator. If not then sorry. If so, how is what I said unappreciative exactly? I'm simply saying I can't get a useful program to work properly and there is not given solution for the issue I'm having. Then I ask if anyone has any ideas and even include a "Thanks!" at the end. So again, exactly how have I offended you? If I'm confused as to who you're directing that towards, sorry.

And I'm still trying stuff and looking for a solution to that issue. I've tried a bunch of stuff. I don't want to use the CC because I'm pretty deep into my Career Mode. If I'm stuck, no biggy. After a few years I can just switch the boots to the one's my players wear by default (since lots of players change frequently). I'd just like to be able to switch individuals as I acquire them in my Career Mode. I picked up Bobby Convey a few years ago and now notice he has switched his boots in real life. Some other guys to. I think they have Poalo Maldini's wrong in the EA file. If I change his default I change a lot of guys who wear that boot.
:) ...of course I should be happy just playing, boots or no boots, since I manged to sign Bobby Convey (Reading FC), Poalo Maldini (AC Milan), Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy), Bernard Mendy (PSG), and George Mourad (IFK Goteborg) as a side currently in the Football League Championship, who started in the lowly Division Two! :)

Regardless, hopfully I did not ruffle any feathers with my question.
Keep gaming!

As far as I understand, it is not possible to change who wears what boots mid-manager mode, because the save file for manager mode works much like the save file for the squads. If you delete both of them in your my documents folder, then the changes you made should be apparent. If you would like to just delete the squads file, then you will only see the changes in friendlies and such, but not your current manager mode.
That seems to be the only way I've gotten it to work for me, but this may not be the real reason. Take the files mentioned above out of your my documents folder and put them on your desktop to try it out, that way, if you dont like something, you didnt just lose your current manager mode.
