Bordeaux info

I´m going to Bordeaux 14th of November for the UEFA-cup game between Bordeaux and Djurgården, and I have a few questions about the town and France in general.

First the most important:

How much does a beer cost?

How´s the pubs/bars?

Are you aloud to drink in parks and other public places?

Is the police nice, or are they like their Copenhagen collegues?

What´s the Bordeaux supporters view on the match. There´s not going to be any trouble, right?

Is it far between the core of the city to the stadium?

... I'd say a beer would be about 4euros
in bars and stuff in the city center .... but things get rather expensives in clubs later at night ... so hanging out at 'Place de la Victoire' isn't the best bet.

.... well try to be discrete about it ... I'm too sure was the laws say about that. But I'm sure you won't get into trouble for it.
Watch out coz they've been having reenforcement in police controls lately

POlice have a really bad reputation in France, so if there's a bit of agro I'm sure there'll be trouble ...

I don't think you'll be in any trouble at all ... there's no history of bitter rivalry against Djurgården... so I would expect that you'd get a good welcome ... unless you beat Bdx 5-0 or smthg.
They have pretty good support to there team ... but lately, well during the last home match some Bdx players got booed and jeered.

No, well there's worse ... you can very easily hang out in the city center during the day and later catch a bus and it'll only be 5 or 10 minutes to the stadium

WHAT!? FOUR €!? That is some expensive beer, man. DO they serve it on golden glasses or something? Geez.
Here, beer prices raised to about 2 € and we're complaining...

Btw Moffiz there's a Irish I might suggest called the Cannemara Irish Pub ... in the city center, near the Virgin Megastore
