This win gives a very very slight chance. We still have to play against Lithuania, San Marino, and Serbia. There are still a few combinations of results that would see us finish 2nd in this group but the odds are against us. Anyways, the goal came from Barbarez .

I think we can beat Lithuania and San Marino but the real question is can we beat Serbia ?? We need games that we can win draw or loss wont do us any good. I know we can beat San Marino for sure and try to put in a few goals to gain more points.

Looking at the other groups, potential second place finishers are:

Group B: Turkey, Greece, Denmark
Group C: Russia, Slovakia
Group D: Switzerland, Ireland, Israel, France
Group E: Norway, Slovenia
Group F: Poland, England
Group H: Sweden, Croatia

We might be able to beat Romania, Turkey, Greece, Denmark, Russia, Slovakia, Swiss, Israel, Norway, and Slovenia.

But a match against Croatia in the play-off would be the best. First knocking out Serbia in the group stages, then Croatia in the play-off, but I should stop dreaming.

That's my analysis. I hope we qualify!

Definitely rooting for Bosnia, the World Cup needs some Muslim representation.

Belgium have really sunk low, how do they get away fielding some Ajax-reject like van Damme? Sad.

KLINSMANN, I think play-offs have been scrapped in favor of immediate qualification for the 2nd bests. I could be wrong though...

No they haven't. The top 2 2nd placed teams will qualify direct, the others will play in three play offs.
