Damn that felt nice. I think that from the 3 penalties, 2 were legit, and the 3rd was weird, i wouldnt give it. But well, there was 2 more penalties, Samuel took off Ronaldo's shirt (by pulling it) inside the area during a free kick or a corner and someone from the wall thought it was volley or something after a free-kick that was took by Alex. The wall was inside the area, so it was a penalty.

So Argentina has nothing to complain, we played bad and even so we could've scored more, because Luis Fabiano had 2 clear chances to score plus Carlos always came close with his long shots. Not to mention Ronaldo that had 2 shots coming close. Argentina looked dangerous on the air but they squandered their chances. All in all it was a very entertaining match and the best of it is that we embarassed Los Hermanos Argentinos.

The match wasn't Brazil against Argentina. It was Ronaldo against Argentina!
Brazilians only attacked like 6 or 7 times in the whole match. Which 4 or 5 of those attacking situations were carried all by Ronaldo. And 3 of those 4 or 5 were Penalties...

Argentina played a GREAT first half in which Brazil seemed to be lost despiting the first Penalty.
Sorin and Kily Gonzalez were the best of Argentina, they've run all the match, and fighting for every ball...... they've defended, attacked..... they've been everywhere.......

So I think the result is really unfair. But it's too hard to defend the 'unfairness' label when we've lost 3-1.... if we had lost 2-1 or 1-0 it'd be much easier to say 'it was just good luck', but after a 3-1 all I can say is Ronaldo is a genius, a great player, but Brazil wasn't Brazil tonight.
And Argentina wasn't Argentina after the first half.
Aimar was injuried and you could easily see that when he played the second half.

P.S: Brazilians...... don't get too excited tho', because we'll beat ya when we play at the Monumental Stadium, here in Argentina, with all of our players in good form (Riquelme, Aimar, Crespo, Saviola, D'Alessandro, etc)...... you bet

That's what I think.

Sorin did ok, but he lost too many chances. And from that 6 or 7 times, Carlos could've scored twice (with the free-kick and a diagonal shot from outside the area), Luis Fabiano could've scored twice (one in the first half where he couldnt reach the ball and the one-on-one header he missed) and Ronaldo the same. He made 2 runs and took 2 dangerous shots, plus the 2 penalties that were not given to us. Like i said, you've got nothing to complain.

And we'll see who wins at Monumental, and from all those names Aimar, Crespo and Saviola played. Ok, Aimar wasnt 100%, but Crespo was a joke and Saviola wasnt noted. And Kily González is a thug.

I agree with you. But in my opinion our second half looked better than Argentina's first. Well, if it wasnt for Sorin's incompetence at finishing you guys could've got something from the game.

He's a defender or a midfielder and yesterday he played as a midfielder..... but he wanted to win more than any other player in the pithc and that's why he attacked so much, so he wasn't incompetent.... he missed some chances to score... ok, but that's why because he isn't an attacker... he isn't there to score but to get the ball back for the team. Yesterday he did that and much more.

When i said incompetence, i was meaning he couldnt score for his life. If he's not an attacker, dont PLAY him as an attacker. Because he was more of a forward yesterday than a wingback. Also, he did well, but if he had scored half of his chances Argentina would've got something from the game.

And yes, Kily is a thug. Ok, he played decent, but he was looking for a fight and you cant deny it. I know who Kily is and i despise him, that's my opinion.
