i noticed that on your work the images have dark shades and stuff. do u do that by adjusting Levels, or some other way?

In Paint Shop Pro its a Effect called blinds. I dunno if its in Adobe though. Very nice banner by the way. I applaude you :clapwap:

yape, that is used too, but the pictures look dark, like more than the scanlines were used. maybe its just the blending mode he set? :confused: it looks more like he adjusted the levels to me tho ;)

Yeah you could ajust it in Paint Shop Pro to, like make the lines very close together, it could make the banner look dark, but he may have done something else. Lets wait for Tom :D

if he used photoshop then he must have used the brightness/contrast and then image hue saturation

its pretty easy to do..just paint the background with a dark color and then set the picture's blending mode to "Hard light" then add scanlines and lightning effects...
