When does Gomes finally gets what he deserves, being the first goalie of Brazil. I see Dida making big mistakes almost every week

Thats crap. We gonna beat you so bad in the CL Gomes would retire. :ewan:

Anyways, based on the lineup posted, I'd switch Ronaldgenio with Ze Roberto and have Robinho play a bit behind Ronnie and Adriano.

Yea, might be worth it. After the goal Dida conceded yesterday to Schalke, i mean, come on...

what, goalie's can't make mistakes? dida has been rock solid for years, and is one of the best goal keepers in the world.

if it ain't broken, don't fix it. jersey dudek was beyond broken, and he was fixed by Rafa this year. Dida is definiately not broken.

Totally agree with that.Dida is the best brazillian GK so i dont see why just for one mistake they will change his spot.

we have no keeper better than Dida for the NT... yeah, he does make stupid mistakes from time to time, but he's still the best we got...
If I had to select 3 keepers for the World Cup, I'd take Dida, Gomes and Ceni (if only to make him sit on the bench, the bastard)

I'm not basing my opinion solely on the fact he screwed up yesterday, against Schalke. Dida is 2 meters tall (or almost) and he cant rush to pick a cross for his life. He screwed up for us in the Olympics aswell, and i believe we have better Goalkeepers than him. He's great, dont get me wrong, but i prefer other guys between the posts.

Julio Cesar is on form and he deserves to start the next 2 games for us in the Qualifiers, against Bolivia and Venezuela. It would be good to see how he would fair in the altitude from La Paz. Why not? Dida isnt unanimous around here aswell. And yes, i'm Brazilian so i know what i'm talking about.

I agree with trying out Julio Cesar. He's a good keep. But I still think Dida is the best. I never seen him screw up for Brasil. Also....every keeper screws up.

As long as Dida is as reliable as Marcos was in 2002.

I also want to mention that- to the hatred of all club teams around the world-
I am in FULL AGREEMENT with Parreira in calling up all the players for the remaining 2 games. I think it is imperative that Brasil build team chemistry, and work out as much kinks as they can before the World Cup. I think this is a brilliant idea, and I hope no one else does the same.

You never seem Dida screw up for Brazil? Guess you werent alive during the Olympics in 1996/2000, or you were sleeping during some of our qualifiers matches (Uruguay, Peru), or some of our friendlies (last one i recall against Croatia). :crazyboy:

if any of the Real Madrid players returns injured, i'll kill Parreira :taz: they could easily beat Bolivia and Venezuela with their 'C' team. It's not like France, England or Spain, teams who need their best players to qualify for Germany'06... Brazil is already in!

besides, you had the Confederations Cup to build your chemistry :(

WilliamFAlmeida

I cant say I watched the olympics....not to mention that was 5 YEARS AGO
I dont remember him screwing up against Peru, I do remember Uruguay being all R Junior's fault....as well as G Silva's own gol. And against Croatia....that was JUAN's FAULT! Stupid Brazilian defenders! But Juan is ok.

Raik,
The confed cup didnt have Cafu, R Carlos or Ronaldo. Now we must gel, gel, gel! It is the toughest tournament in the world to win.

I dont think they'll come back injured. VEnezuela and Bolivia are already out (arent they?) So everyone will be taking it easy, and lots of gols abound- except in la paz. We'll just play lazy that game.

I think its ridiculous as it is for Brasil to have to qualify, so now we have to use these oppotunities.

It true that in the confederations cup not all the regualar player of the team where there so i think the idea of building a team chemistry for the WC is true but Brazil are already in the WC so calling all the big guns for team like Bolivia and Venezuela was not neccesary.Take Robinho as exemple he being playing a lot of game and now he call up he need to rest the guy.Well i expect Brazil to win big and both match in finish first.

Kibe Kru

Starting XI
I don't think team chemistry is something you build now and use later... I'd rather use youngsters with something to prove rather than the old lazy bastards... we all know they play like **** when they don't care about a match, so we'll probably see 2 draws, and that's if we're lucky in la paz... the old farts will just sit back and hope to nick a goal.. then the opposition will attack and we'll counter... at least we'd see some will if the youngsters were to play...

WilliamFAlmeida

Starting XI
true, itd be more entertaining....
but for the team as a whole, I think its the training sessions that are the most important. Thats what builds the team IMO. Thats what they need to work on, I think. With that said it would be nice to see young talent show off skills and try to impress

Fizemos 2 a 1 e fiquei calado. Empatamos e continuei calado. Aí, quando viramos para 3 a 2, não dava para me segurar. E não imitei aviãozinho, aquilo foi esquadrilha da fumaça mesmo - contou.

this has gone waaaaaaay to far :o
