A few weeks ago a 16yr old Dutch boy died on the pitch. During his memorial a week later another guy died... 15 yrs old. Also on the pitch. This is getting out of hand.

i'm guessing it has to do with heart problems as the other deaths have been caused by this

I think its because they push themselves too far. In other sports like hockey, baseball(:rolleyes: ), American Football, there are pauses and you can take a break. You *can* stroll in footie to catch your breath but the ref strives to keep teh pace of the game and it becomes dangerous if you have heart problems (especially if you dont know it yourself).

This is really sad, everybody is getting worried about this kind of stuff, and it makes u think twice about playing.

**** he was a good player for eb one that will be missed, apparently the opposition goalkeeper pushed him in the chest or something after he scored which could be a cause. rest in peace
