Bugs in ML?

I'd edited some duplicate player in PES4.
For example, change :

Kezman (Serbia & M)-> Flood (man city)
Milosevic (Serbia & M) -> Croft (man city)

But when I start a new ML game with Man city, the stats & age for Flood and Croft were remain the same as Kezman and Milosevic.. is this a bug? I remember there is no such problem in PES3 / WE7I tho, any idea? Thanks
