Just hoping that SI Games sort out all the bugs that rigged Championship Manager. My playing time stopped completely during all CMs made by SI either due to corrupt saved games that wouldn't load, or exe problems which meant I was ****ed because I hadn't saved it for like 6 weeks because it took so long and don't like cheating and doing stuff all over again, so I stopped playing. On top of small things like players of the years award going to players who only played like 10 games etc lol. People will know what I mean. Just a worry because in some respects, FM2005 is Champ Manager and the new Champ Man games is totally different and concerned SI have taken the bugs with them.

Don't worry, CM5 will definitely have it's share of bugs. I hope BGS will be as forthcoming as SI are when it comes to patching a released game.
The bugged awards aren't a problem for me, they're just a gimmick anyway. The match engine and regen system are far more important, imo.

I havent noticed any bugs on the demo - I have corrupted lots of saved games but I think that was my fault. I think the reason previous CMs were so buggy is because Eidos were putting pressure on SI to get it done quicker and add more commercial features, so SI didnt have time to make sure everything was working properly. I expect CM5 to be very buggy cos BGS will just be giving Eidos exactly what they want, and what they will want will be more 'cool' stuff more quickly. I'm sure both will be perfectly willing to release patches/enhancement packs though - I just hope they will work on already saved games this time.
