-WHAT IS A BUNG?
A secret and unauthorised payment seen as a financial incentive to help a transfer go through.

-HOW DOES IT WORK?
An agent pays a club official a slice of his cut for the help of the club official helping the transfer go through.

-AGENTS' RULES:
An agent may... never so approach a player who is under contract with a club with the aim of persuading him to terminate his contract prematurely or to flout the rights and duties stipulated in the contract.

its a matter of time before something clouds the Liga (which is not hard to imagine, btw). somehow Serie A opened everyones eyes.

really sucks though. I would have liked it better when it was all under wraps. what you dont know wont hurt you, as they say.

Agreed, all I heard was Serie A bashing since the scandal hit. You know what they say though, what comes around goes around. Looks like the EPL got what it was asking for.

Though I must say, I would of liked it if no scandal would of been in any of the leagues. At least they caught the culprits and hopefully they can make an example of them that way they can stop this thing from happening in the future.

In my opinion Serie A was to soft with their punishments. If they were more severe people would of thought more than twice about doing this kind of thing again. Now, I'm afraid it'll happen again in the near future as the penalty wasn't as severe as it should have been. I'm not saying this as an Inter fan, but as a fan of the Serie A. I would say the same if Inter was involved.

why do they call them bungs when it is a bribe, its like because its football its somehow more acceptable, they should call it what it is.
