Hmmm... well perhaps the image file you have is corrupt. Try cleaning your CD and copy another image.

Apart from that I can't really help much more :(

Help PLEASE!

Sorry to keep putting this request up everywhere, but I'm more than a little bit desperate to play:

"Hello,

I urgently need your help. I received WE5FE yesterday and I am trying to play it on my US PS2.

Here is my problem:

The model of Cd Writer I have is not supported by CDRWIN. This seems to be the dominant writer for backing up games. I finally found CloneCD and that was able to make a direct copy of the disk.

Here is the good news:
I am able to play WE5FE in japanese using a gameshark and the knife swap.

Here is the bad news:
CloneCD writes the disk image in a manner which seems to be incompatible with Rhapsody's English Patch.

CloneCD produces three files:
An Image file that is 551 MB and two other files (depending on how I set it it produces a .sub file and a .cue file or a .sub file and a .ccd file).

The patching programs I am using say that this does not appear to be the correct size (I think it wants the image to be 578 MB or something).

When I have forced the patching program to do it anyway the disk will not load. I have wasted several CDRsalready in an attempt to get lucky.

So, my question is this:

Is there a specific setting for CloneCD that will produce images compatible with Rhapsody's English patch?

Is there another program that will do the job that is compatible with my drive (A matsu****a [sp?] in the docking bay of a Sony laptop)?

If anyone is so kind to respond, please go slowly and go step by step as I am new to this and very easily confused by it all.

Thanks,

Justin

P.S.
Yesterday, as an American, was my first taste of WE/PES/ISS. I am SO DONE with FIFA."

Re: Help PLEASE!

Welcome on board. You won't regret the decision. You can make a .bin with image with Fireburner also. The Rh4psody English patch was meant to be only for a .bin image. So CloneCD will not work. Here is my advice. Download Fireburner at download.com and make an image of We5fe. Than applied the patch. You might need ECCRegen also. Then burn the patched image with Fireburner.

Hi V-9,

CloneCD does work with the Rh4psody patch. I got my WE5FE patched with CloneCD and Rh4psody only 2 weeks ago.

With CloneCD it creates a .img file.
It's still an ISO even though it is not a .bin file.

ECCRegen should be used to fix the errors on the patched image file.

CloneCD really is pretty straightforward. I got it working in the first attempt.
But if you're still having problems, then try Blindwrite
