Buying a Club

I've been playing for some time now on 00/01 and keep getting press releases that club are going to close because of being bankrupt. Is there a way to buy these clubs or become the chairman to keep them a float.

u know!! that was a new idea but i dont think it is included yet
ur still just a manager u dont own the money ur club have to sepnd it on another to be their chairman
may be in the future they can let us be charimans who knows what will happen in cm4

yeah, how cool would it be if, rather then just appplying for jobs, when you applied the chairman offered u a contract and told u what he would expect, and what his goals would be etc...
ALso wouldnt it be cool if u could also be hired as an assistan, coach, scout etc, just to increase your reputation a bit.
This would add a new dimension to the game, and then you could build up your money, and maybe buy a small club, then maybe a larger one, etc...

Get the word to the CM team right away!!!

I am already thinking about the leap that this game would have if your ideas were implemented...:rolleyes: It really would add a new dimension to the game.

Guess what, I was browsing the SI Games boards, and there is maybe 1 or 2 people there who think the idea is a good one.

yeah skippi u r absolutely correct about most of it there should b like contract there when they hire u and there u reputation and value increases by ur achievemenets like in real life this will make the game totaly helirious and for one time u can be the chairman and coach at same time (actually i found it happend on cm02 in the conference division when i was trying to search for a new assistant manager...i found a team having someone as chariman and manager too)..but as for us being scout or assistant manager or coach i do see it as far as good..like now im a scout so what?!! i will keep watching the games for like a one season or more!! and not playing anygame just following until my reputation get high and hired as coach?!! actually i see what more challenging is...not to allow u get the premiereship team by just starting the game if they made it avaialable that u start the game and reuqests come to u from first division or second thee u start ur trophy this would b challenger and getting a stron team like Arsenal in the end of it will have another taste...maaaaay beeeeeeeeeeeee

Nope, every time i've tried to e-mail them i get an automated response and then nothing.

My mate tried ringing them up to complain about the game they hung up on him :|

Never tried to contact them, but a mate did and got told in no uncertain terms to 'Go Away'.....

I DID Apply for the Sunderland job once (not in CM, I did actually apply, and got a reply!)

It was funny. Wilko got sacked, my mate rang me to say. I sit down and right out a full CV and E-Mail. With the help of a few Mackem friends I get the e-mail of someone high up in the club and sent it.

The E-Mail I just harped on about how i lack experience but i felt ready for the job, etc.

In the end I got an e-mail thanking me for my application and :drevil:a decision would be made shortly on the information given to Mr. Murray :drevil: or something along the lines. Funny thing was it wasnt an automated reply. I had all my details mentioned. It was quite a long aswell.

I was quite proud of that. :p
