Voltaic Borusse, please tell me you made that sig purely for the basis of this rumor you mentioned??? It looks really funny that one (not like bad funny, but you can "get it" right away and its actually humerous!) Haha, if you did, kudus, and i think i must borrow the concept with Ashley Cole and Chelsea in future!

I linked that banner from sport1.de website.

Ah, well, kinda strange of them to use that picture. Never seen something quite like that before. But kudos on taking it as your own. Haha, still looks kinda funny though. Glad to see Tomas scored today

Rosicky plays so much better and harder for the Czech team. Ever since winning that title with Dortmund, I haven't seen that same passion from him with his club side.

He has developed into a fine keeper but the gk spots in the nt are set.

Kahn, Lemon, Hildebrand, Rost, Rensing are ahead of him.

Rensing and Rost are worse keepers in my opinion.

Kahn is 80 years old... Lehmann is as inconsistent as Barthez.

Hildebrand is in the same group as Weidenfeller.

Weidenfeller is playing good for what? 3 months. Kahn, Hildebrand and Wiese are far more consistent and have been playing on a high level for years.

Lemon is crap yeah, Rensing will be No.1 after the WC anyway.

Yeah, Weidenfeller just recently started kicking ass after sucking so much during the first half of last year's season. He's clearly on the rise, though. I'm kind of glad Wache turned us down.

Goddamnit, Ewerthon's finishing was poor and abysmal as usual. That boy will never learn how to finish, never-ever. Missed chances after missed chances; I thought I was watching the Twilight Zone or something. We should have won by at least two or three clear cut goals. With that said, another classical performance by Weidenfeller.

2-1: Ewerthon and Smolarek keep up Berlin's nightmare

[3.04.] Borussia Dortmund gave a brilliant end to a fine day by prevailing Hertha BSC. Ewerthon, Smolarek and Friedrich scored in a good match attended by 76,100

Despite of problems in the beginning, Koller-lacking BVB grabbed their chances in the first half and gained a comfortable lead. Berlin's goal did not end in a backstroke but was used as a motivation, especially for lively Ewerthon, and also a bustling final could not take away the deserved victory.

PERSPECTIVES:

The last home was lost but followed by an away victory at Hamburg, and only BVB had been able to win at Berlin this season. Hertha BSC had shown a brilliant away performance so far and was keen on their first victory in Dortmund since 33 years.

PERSONNEL:

Koller, Kehl and Ricken were most doubtful for Sunday's clash, but BVB's top striker did not recreate on time which made Ewerthon move to the team. David Odonkor (knee) and Otto Addo were not ready anyway, van Burik (blocked due to a red card), Schröder (cruciate ligament). Mansiz (shoulder), Müller (leg fracture) and Bastürk (shoulder) were off the capital's team.

TACTICS:

Berlin's defence switched from a three to a four men row with Gilberto pending. Also Friedrich moved to the offence from time to time. Offender Rafael was supported by Reina, Salihovic and Marcelinho. Bert van Marwijk kept up his 4-3-3 system, only Koller had to be replaced (Ewerthon).

MATCH:

BVB's beginning lacked of concentration which ended in a most dangerous attempt by Salihovic which was saved briliiantly by Weidenfeller. Right afterwards, Dortmund started to find their way to Berlin's box and gained some good chances, crowned by Ewerthon's fine header goal in 24th minute. Kringe's attempt some minutes later found Fiedler's hands only, but Smolarek hit the net after some confusion in Berlin's defence. Dede missed to increase the lead minutes before half time even.

Dortmund also had the better start in the second half with fine attempts again by Smolarek and Ewerthon, even former BVB-player Bobic was not able to provide a visible improvement in the Berlin's team play, but just after the Yellows had slowed down slightly, Friedrich brought the vistors back into the game. Instead of fighting the defeat, Berlin started to play remote which brought back some space to Dortmund's midfield and its engine Kringe, also Ewerthon was still very lively, same as Gilberto on the Blues side. In the last quarter hour, it was up to Roman Weidenfeller to show off his abilities against shots from Marcelinho and Marx, but he showed another approval of his fine efforts during the second leg round. The time was a good friend to Dortmund in the end and sealed the important victory.

PREVIEW:

Borussia travels to Leverkusen next Saturday where no victory could be gained during the last 14 years. Right afterwards there will be homes against Bielefeld and Kaiserslautern.

In other news;

FEYENOORD DUO IN DEMAND

Feyenoord duo Patrick Paauwe and Eby Smolarek are attracting interest from several Bundesliga clubs.

Smolarek is on loan at Borussia Dortmund but Hamburg are one of the clubs on his trail.

We will look what is the best option for Eby, technical director Mark Wotte told Feyenoord Krant. There can be talked about an extension of the loan contract with Dortmund.

Selling is another matter.

In our eyes, Smolarek is a reliable player.

We have the preference to loan him out, but first we will exchange ideas with the players themselves before we draw conclusions.

We must find the funds to sign der Hash-Bomber. He's scored three goals and has made a handful of assists since his debut against Wolfsburg two months ago. He's been great for us. SIGN THIS KID ASAP, PLZ!

Yeah, we must resign Ebi hell even at the expense of Rosicky.

Ebi loves Dortmund, so I think we should strike a deal.

Dortmund's tactics: bore the opposition team to hell, then score and win by one goal

it looks like it works

BvM has finally gotten this team to play as a team. No more bull**** from players that aren't getting playing time. BvM could have resigned like many other loser coaches, but he felt he could fix this club and the club is finally showing signs of life.

Sammer made a huge mess that BvM had to try and fix.
