And yes, I did forget to mirror the shorts logo, and I'm currently making the kit again myself, I'm not trying to compete with CAFC it's just I want to update a kit I've already made. And whilst I appreciate the feedback Vince please remember that feedback to CAFC is what the thread is for (I know I may have forgotten that by posting my own kit, but yea).

I attempted this kit once but to no avail, it's rather difficult to get right and I think you've done quite a good job so far. I dunno if it's because those parts or too dark or what, but the little triangles near the collar are mesh, they are similar to the flaps near the collar on 04/05 kits...

i'd appreciate it very much This is looking great so far mate, just a few little things I would add/detract to make it better.
First, on the mesh triangles at the collar, add some shadowing (only from the top) over it to show that they are part of the vents, you know what I mean?
Second, I dunno if you noticed but there's the little bit on the top right adidas stripe that you forgot to cut off where the mesh starts. Third, the "sewing" lines you've used aren't to my taste - for starters theyre too thick and second, instead of making them dark like they are, you should make them lighter than the material, or if thats not possible for instance on the white then add a 1 px stroke either side, yea? Dunno if that's possible because I use paint shop pro to make my kits you see. Where the big sections of mesh are i'd add slight shadows coming from the main material onto the mesh to show different depths/materials. Of course that's what I'd do, hehe, you don't have to, but it'd make it look far better imho.
Oh and I'd more sewing lines, for instance one coming from the top of the shoulder where the mesh meets the main body, coming all the way down, next to the mesh, bridging the gap between the two sections of mesh at the bottom and going all the way to the bottom, do that on both sides.
Lastly, I know it looks great on the template here but I think you've brought the mesh into the centre far too much at half way, if you look on the real kits its much more like just coming round from the sides, it doesnt come so far in, I'd say probably only 2/3 of what it does on your design.

thanks for the help john.....i havent changed anything with any of your tips yet for this fantasy kit....but when i make a new kit i will try and adapt some of your ideas into that design......so thanks for that mate......one thing though about the mesh being too far to the centre i thought that was how it looked....i will have to check again though

Sorry to keep bitching on at you but do you ever look at your kits ingame? If you did you'd notice many errors because, while it may look great on the image outside of the game, ingame, the adidas logo is too big, the adidas stripes are a tad too wide, but especially if you look on the back, the lines do not match up, even if you were to swap the colours over so that the red was on the right of the back main shirt, the lines still wouldn't meet.
I know it's only in early development but these are problems you can easily eradicate Just trying to help that's all.

......i have never been able to crack adidas kits (hence i barely ever make them)...... i just realised the collar isnt that impressive either.......like you say early development.....i guess i can only get better (i hope)

right remake time.....take two at the front template....i feel this one looks better.......ignore the darkness of some of the lines at this stage.....john i have tried to give lining a shadowy look to it to see if thats what you mean? i have also bridged the gap of meshes with the lines although its isnt necessary on all versions of this kit like here for instance......
