Call of Duty is the best WW 2 game i have ever played !! It has gr8 atmosphere and intensity which no one can match...I also played the expansion pack' United Offensive' and it was better than the first one. I dont think i will be able to play COD2 as i have Geforce4 MX

Anyways...this game will be selling like hotcakes..a classic in the making perhaps. The first part is already one.

Cheers to Gray Matter Studios :rockman:

I bought COD for my newer, compact computer, but because the all in one is so small, it didnt have an adequate video card or something. However, when i fired it up on a friends PC, i was superbly impressed. Great gameplay, as realistic as id yet seen graphics for the game, although I thought the "walk you through" style of the game gets a bit old after a while (I heard 'Road to Hill 30' is like this to the extreme) but i think ive been spoiled because i was H&D mad back in the day, and that game is like no other when it came to realistic, explorable 3d maps.

Anyway, COD 2, if they keep on with the same stuff, will be excellent im sure. Id love to see campaings in the pacific and even the less glamourized parts of the war such as maybe North Africa or SE Asia. The one thing i loved about COD was the realism: Allied Paras on DDay: Soviet Troops at the Reichtag. These were real events, and personally, id replay these about 50 times over before I went back to yet another sim about, say, insurgency operations or something like that. But the H&D line still rules :p

i've heard from a COD developer that it's going to be more 1.1 alike!! Great news!! Super graphics and sound and 1.1 gameplay with PB!

Best WWII game ever.

yea the big emphasis was on making it more realistic, and the graphics look absolutely freaking amazing. also, they are making maps larger (up to 3 times original COD maps), and they will be non linear. there will be more then one way to acheieve your objective, and more then one way to get to it, instead of just following a path and shooting. it looks like it will be one hell of a game.

yep and your enemies will be much smarter. It will be cool to have very big maps. Very nice indeed. I hope they are about 20 or more because i finished cod1 quite easy and quick.
