Camera Setup Tips

Since no one would help me I figured it out myself. Use Monkey Dragon's Match Explorer and highlight skip common.ini. Exit from Match Explorer and open the common.ini from Fifa 07 folder. Delete everything from the file and copy and paste this into the file (omitting the resolution, goalies, weather, and title fix if you like):

CAMERA_BIG_HEIGHT_MODIFIER=0

CAMERA_HEIGHT=0
[GUI]
SKIP_TITLE=1

Play the game with zoom being maxed out and the zoom modifier in game now functions differently.

Now the modifier sticks so however you adjust the zoom to be, the game will stay like that for matches from than on (in game adjustment).

Add my common.ini to CProgram Files\EA SPORTS\FIFA 07 and enjoy. And remember I searched the forum and didn't find this, so yes, I did search and other information helped me figure this out.

Now that is what I get for reading posts in chronological order, I guess you can ignore my reply on the other thread. By adding the empty section header ([]) before those two CAMERA_ parameters you are actually modifying a different parameter (the common.ini variants are in the OPTIONS section) which must result in the game ignoring the options settings and just using the values supplied. Good detective work that man

I had no idea about the [] so thank you for letting me know that. I cant take complete credit for this because I used Monkey Dragon's Match Explorer and the other settings on the zoom etc from around these forums.

For this setting:
CAMERA_BIG_ZOOM_MODIFIER=-1.0

If you go =1.0 and above it zooms out. IF you go =-1.0 it zooms in but if you go -2.0 or more it seems to zoom in so far you cant see the pitch.
