Can 3 online players play in the same game?

Me and my mates have bought fifa2003 and we wanted to do a 2 v 1 direct ip game...is this possible?
It states on the game that fifa supports upto 8 players but we can only seem to get a 1 v 1 game going.
Any help on how to do this would be ace.

YOu could just have multiple people join the IP address of the server... should work just fine

Yes it is possible to play multiple player over several machines.you need to get hold of a programe called kali2, you can set this up to act like a remote lan setup, ive played 2 v 2 over 4 machines on it with little or no real slow down, obviously it helps if you have cable/dsl or better on each machine.
hope this helps.you can also play 2 v 1 over 1 machine if you want you just need to have two pads set up on your pc
