Can I install World League?

Hi guys,
Currently I am playing alot of DirectIP and as such do not want to patch my game at the moment because of the 'out of sync' problem. Could someone let me know if I can install World Legaue patch and still play directIP with the default database against someone who doesn't have WL installed.
I really want to play WL because it looks great and obviously a lot of work has gone into it but I don't want to have to stop playing directip games.

In a word, yes u can play online but remember to use the original Fifa 2003 exe file...

Thanks very much Vazza. I had read that they run as 2 seperate games but wasn't sure if this applied to multiplayer. That is very good news indeed, I'm going to download it when I get home tonight and tell my wife I'll see her on Monday;)
BTW, I only ever buy original games. If people like Ariel were to release the patch at a fee I would buy it too.
