Can I play WE8 without a chipped ps2?

Is there any other method than getting my ps2 chipped because I think that it will be a lot of money just to play WE8. The reason being that I would like to play this game before PES4 comes out. Thanks in advance!

ya there is a way to play we8 with out a modchip..

actually i'm really not to sure baout htis.. but there is this thing called xport.

basically u need the harddrive that comes with ffxi and u're ps2.


xport will install we8 on to the harddrive
so that u don't need to cd anymore.. and play stright off the hard drive..


^^" except. to install on to the harddrive.. i dono if xport requres a modchip to use.. therefore.. find a chiped system.. put u're hd in there. use xport + we8.. haha. and ther eu go.

i'm not sure if this works.. its just stuff i hear at work.. I work in a modchip store. in pacific mall toronto. =P

you can play with a swap magic disk using either a flip top lid or the slide card method. I use the swap magic disks w/ the flip-top and it works great. e-mail me if you need more help [email protected]

me to. I use swap magic and a flip top lid, it only cost £30 for the lid and disks. a lot easier than chipping imo

I just use Swap Magic disks, I actualy snapped a part from my lid, from an older PS2, so its easy to remove the lid bit..

Why would you maim a perfectly good PS2 just to play one game that will be re-released in PAL format in a couple of months anyway? That's just plain daft
