yep got the problem with the baldness too. I Think its a programming flaw. Because in far camera modes the player models arent rendered fully. So you see them in very low detail.
In closer camera views you dont see this problem, but then its impossible to play properly.
Konami is following the tracks of fifa with all these strange bugs??

I guarantee u that if u sit in Camp Nou at the farest seats u wont see as many details as if ur on front row!!
yeah i have this prob too,once the game starts the players are rendered in their low poly count,its very noticeable with bald/short hair players,youll also notice the numbers on the front of the jerseys dissapear as do tape around the ankles,surely some1 could fix this in the games config

yea it happened 2 me 2... but o well i mean if u look at beckham in real life from far away it kinda looks like he is bald... the captain armband thing is preety annoying but i mean its not that importaNt i think..
It's called LOD (Level Of Detail). Works on the principle that the closer the camera is, the more detail a model will have.
Some game engines force the artist to make several versions of each model they make (for the various LOD). This is fine in certain games and gives great results as the artist has full control over each LOD, but when you have the variety of players (bodies, faces etc) that there is in PES I guess the engine does it on the fly (approximation) so as to cut down on the work load for the artists.
Unfortunately, auto-approximation within an LOD engine can sometimes create slightly odd results (polys for hair etc go under skin polys making people look bald etc).
All very exciting anyway...
I thought that Beckham and Owen were virtually bald in the game anyway, they are in RL.

Does this baldness problem happen in the playstation 2 version? If it does then I doubt there'll be a patch or anything from Konami to fix it, which is a shame because it really lessens my enjoyment of the game whenever I notice it (all the time.
