How important is a captain to your game?

Does frequent changing of the team captain affect the team in any way?

Cause I have Vieria, Campbell, Worns, and a couple of others all with influence 18 and I cant decide who should be captain

Is there a difference b/w CM4 an CM03/04 in this regard?

I have no idea what to do for captain as whenever i give someone captaincy they play sh!te

I always give the captancy too the dirty player that I usually place at DMC (usually Dennis Wise)

I just do it how it is done IRL.

Otherwise the longest serving player, or someone born in the area.

Highest Influence and one that has been there the longest. I also tend to give it to my defense players for some reason.
