Career Mode: Morale

Hi. I'm trying to figure out how to manage morale. I have a defender who has been playing regularly, but has developed lousy morale. The rest of the team has been average to good.

1. Any guesses why?
2. Should I give him more playing time to shake out of it (he's one of my better defenders) or bench the surly twit to play someone whose got his head in the game?

In general, experience with managing to morale would be great to hear about.

I usually just put him on the ground and win afew matches. then his morale will go up along with the rest of the team

Hey,

Winning a few games with him in them should work... I always have 99 morale on whole team, it will only drop on the 1`st few matches of a season or when i transfer a new player, but shortly after all of them are 99 again.

I`m more concerned about the form thing...what does form afect and when? They get fit more fast after matches or what? Anybody knows that? Thanks.

I've made sure that I use everyone in some capacity (spot start, sub) and win - that keeps them happy for me.

I think it would add some degree of difficulty by making players impossible to deal with once in awhile but I haven't seen anything yet.
