career mode - problem

Hi,
i have problem with career mode. When i play few matches and then i save it and play for example FUT, that after load the career i have messed squad,some players disappear and instead them i have goalkeepers vith name ,,10" and when i mark them,the game crashes.it looks like this: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/846/fifax.jpg/ I have original game. Can anybody help me please?

Well, I don't know how to solve it, I know only what is causing this thing. It's because when you play Ultimate Team, it downloads the latest squads always, and it will hurt you savegames. Sorry, this wasn't a very helpful post, but at least it was fast.

Are you using custom formations? Because there's a bug in the custom formation programming that does that, and that same bug has been in the game for 2-3 years now. If you use custom formations, you have to be careful about saving and overwriting any formations you create.

Edit: Yes im using the custom formations, i normally save them, how can i be careful? Maybe i try it without custom formations but it´s little bad without it

Well, that would be the most easiest thing to do. Shame on EA. Try it for some matches, then we'll see.

Custom formations work, I use several of them. You just have to be careful how you create and save them. It seems if I overwrite formations I've already created, that's when I tend to see that bug pop up.

You can always create a new profile and settings save, that gets rid of the corrupted formations.

Also, someone else who had this problem said on another site that his formations became corrupted if he created them while in the midst of playing a match, rather than creating them in the team management/edit section of the game.

I don´t know...now im trying everything as before when i got that error(change and save/overwrite cstom formations,connect to UT...) to find the reason but i can´t get it. Im scared that when i start reaL playing, the error will appear again...
And i set custom formations always in team managment, not before match...

I'm the same way. I know the bug exists and I worry about my settings file becoming corrupted (that's where formation info is saved). So I keep extra copies of my settings file, in case my current settings file gets corrupted. Then I just load a saved copy and I'm good to go.

If I'm going to create a new formation, I save the settings file and then exit the game, right to the desktop. I then fire up the game again and immediately check to see if my formation saved correctly. If it did, and it usually does, I then save a copy of that settings file and continue playing. Once it saves correctly, it's fine after that.

My manager mode crashes also in second or third season without any message and when I try loading all savings are corrupt and that is the end of career mode-manager.I tested what is wrong and it appears to be linked with scouts and youth squad.If I do not use scouts all is good,but if I try this,it is all over.I can not understand this problem yet..

I also tried loading older savings, but they all become corrupt at the same point without exceptions, if I already used scouts once or have a scouted player is my squad.

I know what you can do.
1.Copy all the files from FIFA 12/Game folder to FIFA 12/Game1 and this will be where you must keep your ultimate team
2.backup your ultimate team save and the career mode fifa 12 settings anywhere seperatly
3.If you want to play career mode,then past your career mode Fifa 12 documents file to my documents folder
4.After this copy your new Career mode files and replace old one
5.To play the ultimate team first rename the game folder to game2 and rename the game1 folder to Game and do the samething as you did with the career mode documents
6,Remember to rename,backup and replace.bye bye

Adil 7, I understand first two steps, but at the third step,what Fifa 12 documents must I copy to my documents?

Its simple.since the documents you have has a corrupt career mode but a working UT copy all the files in the my documents/Fifa 12 to my documents/ut.when you want to play ut do the first 2 steps and then copy back the files in the ut folder to the fifa 12 folder.
Then after you finish playing copy the new files from the fifa 12 folder to the ut folder and replace
use the same method for cm too.and say if it helped.bye bye

themyskrya, he's saying to simply copy and paste all the My Documents/FIFA 12 files in a separate folder and save them after each time you play. Which is exactly what I was saying.

Yes, I understand this, but the big problem is that in these savings it's happening something,and as I was saying if I have a scouted player in the squad, when I place the backup in my documents, it enters career mode but crashes when I reach next match,just because the backup was made before, when also was a scouted player in the squad,and so...game over!!! Really annoying, but I will try the method proposed by Adil 7 and see the result, then I will inform everybody,it should not take to much.
Meanwhile I'm working to built a patch for the career crashes, but I do need information,and if anybody has others proposals, please share them.

Adil 7, this method, by making a game1 folder it seems interesting, can you explain what is it's real purpose, and does it matter if I play with the executable from game or game1?

Well. I have tried all methods and still the same damn crash,nothing it's working,with backups,with renaming,nothing!!!
As long as I do not use scouts,all is fine, but in the moment I hire a scout and he scouts one player,it's the way to disaster for me!
I will try reinstalling windows,as it's seems this may have something to do with the error,and keep you informed.
