I like to pick a second division team (like Juventus) and bringing them up to the first division and out to europe. That is way more fun then just selecting Barca from the start.
It is also a lot tougher because you can't sign the best players and the best sponsors but that makes it so fun and challenging.

Good times in Juventus!
We got promoted to Serie A in my first season and I won the coppa nazionale.
I haven't signed any playes cuz my prestige isn't enough to get a decent playes :(
But Juventus already have a pretty good team so it doesn't really matter.

My first season in Serie A couldn't start any better. I met Palermo on Delle Alpi and Trezeguet scored already after 5 min!
Now that's a good start :)

We controlled the game and won with 2-0 after Del Piero scoring a penalty in the second half.
Now I'm heading for the Champions League :hump:

I have no desire to get into a discussion of the relative merits of career mode in the recent versions of FIFA (my own opinion would be that EA Sports have done a decent job of improving that aspect of the game with each new version, but each to their own) but being a pedant I feel that I must point out that FIFA 2004 was the first version with a career mode.

I think you're right about that, cuz in FIFA 2005 they say that they have improved the manager mode, not created one.

Started out with my team, St. Mirren FC, spent two seasons before going on to Corinthians, then after a short successful season moved back to the U.K. and guided Reading back to the Premiership, though i switched to F.C Porto after just one season in England, and after three highly successful seasons with Porto, winning every trophy available, i took the reins at Man United, where I'm currently well into my inaugral season with them, with the following team;

-----------------------B. Alnwick-----------------------

--S. Rowland------N. Vidic------R. Bordi------P. Evra--

-------------M. Carrick---------D. Fletcher-------------
--C. Ronaldo-----------------------------K. Richardson--

---------------W. Rooney------T. Walcott--------------

Subs:

Maier
Park
Vernon
Rossi
Burgic

*Edit* I'm about to put in an offer for Micah Richards at RB, however can anyone reccomend a good Left Back? Cheers

Gareth Bale is a great left back. He starts at 70 but in a few seasons he'll reach 90.

Both Richars and Bale are excellents defenders, another very good one is Gonzalo Castro from Spain, he is a right back.

Hey, i started from scratch with Chelsea.

When you start with a lower division team, and finish 1 in the league, can you sign with a bigger team like Chelsea?

or because you don't have enough prestige you can't do it?

I think if u start with a lower division team it might take two or three seasons before u can sign with the top clubs, because it takes some time to build up your prestige.

thanks,

what do you guys think of the money patch that makes your budget go over a billion?
I mean it is real if you use teams like Chelsea, where the owner, in this case Abramovich is in the richest 10 persons of the world.

I had sooooooo much money with this patch that somehow my balance became negative, and I couldn't buy anyone :nape: So I got rid of it once my balance became positive again. Now I lose 1.5 million each away game. Damn expensive players. (NB I paid 137mil for Messi :kader: )

My team was in two groups of the champions league. So I won one of them, and finished third in the other to go to the uefa cup. Now I'm playing in both. Weird!! :dragan:

It's taken more than two or three seasons for me  I was leaving Porto after my 7th season in the game, winning every trophy possible and i still couldn't sign with Barca or Real Madrid. Any reason for this? (Think my prestige level was almost at the 7th tier)

Try to trnslate from italian:

CONGATULATIONS

I've completed the career (it says 15 years but I've played 16), my players are sad for my retirement but all thank me for my job.
During my career I've trained 3 teams (5 years Bayern, 5 Roma, 6 Arsenal) and won 74 titles (all the titles I played except: 1st year with Bayern I've lost Ligapokal with Werder on penalties and in 14th year I lost Champions league final against Milan on penalties again).
I can export my team and I'll be recordeb like a great trainer, a perfect trainer.....

You've played 16 years, you've won the league in every single year, you've won the champions league 15 times from 16, and you won everything else, too, except of one stupid ligapokal?

honestly, no offense: wasn't that boring after some years?

Why do you guys all start with supremely strong teams?
Not all of us do. I am in my third season with Wycombe, and have managed to drag them from League Two to the Championship and even find myself in the EFA (courtesy of a tight League Cup final win over Liverpool, four goals to three, in which I was behind twice, including two nil down in the space of twenty minutes, but clawed my way back). Third season is going fairly well, helped by the blossoming of some young guns acquired via scouting, but a fixture crunch is looming in the new year and things may get awkward.

How you win against arsenal and lose to Macclesfield. Wat a waste of a gud win against a gud team.

No, it's not boring cause I love play Fifa07, ok I won everything but I played some matches very very difficult, the most important thing in a videogame is havin' enjoy, now I've started a new career and hope to enjoy myself again, I have to put on the difficulty level so I can became a good Fifa player..... :)

p.s. Do u know you're in the city where John Mc Enroe was born? :drevil:

Ciao :)
