I'm having a problem with player fitness when using any version of this mod, it's making my players appear to have no stamina at all sometimes after games. It was even worse after installing v60.0 yesterday as all of my team (even reserves) had no stamina at all. :|

Help? I sim games so I thought it might have been simsettings.ini but that seems fine!

Hi beta.
I tested even more that new growth system I was talking about an find it constant and stable , perhaps you could include it in a beta release and see what the rest of users have to say after testing it.
I can control growth curve anyway I want with that and is very flexible , can be customizen by anyone.

Does anyone know any working tweaks to burn off more stamina during a match? 75 mins in and everyone is still green and there's basically no need for substitutes, I'd like some players to be getting towards red at that point especially if they're wingers who sprint a lot or players with low stamina...

I agree with this, something needs to be done.

I was hoping you might have the answer! It seems like the only possible thing is to do a global stamina edit to take 20-30 off the stamina of every single player?

MAXENERGY = 100 // Maximum energy a player can have
GKADJUST = 75 // Adjustment to energy for a GK
STAMINAINF = 100 // Percentage influece stamina has
FATIGUEBASE = 21 // The base value of stamina lost per game.
The lower STAMINAINF , the more energy lost in game and more time to recover between games.
I believe the original EA setting was 10 , but that is way too low and players in the start of second half are almost depleted of energy.
Arround 50 would be good.

Yes, I have reverted back to Beta 2. In RC1 I have tried editing stories.lua, but it is causing issues on sim. games and crash issues. The transfers were better thought, so I still would to add this into RC1 (again). :)

I think you mean when playing games? Maybe tweaking down the player fitness attribute is the solution or a string can be found in fifa16.exe.

1- It was possible some years ago to edit the length of career mode and make it playable for more than 15 seasons by editing some scripts. I think last year it was hardcoded. Can we make career mode last more than 15 ( or 20 can't remember ) seasons?

2- When editing young scouted players, we can edit the % chance to get one kind of player: Attacker, Defender, Speed.... These are associated to different positions, such as: Attackers to CF, LW/RW, CAM, Defenders to CB , CDM, and so on... so skills are distributed in most positions, but there is a position which lacks almost always when you use youth scouts: LB and RB. Left/Right Back players should have main skills: Speed, Defense, and secondary: Crosses. I really find it hard to get from youth scouts RBs/LBs who have these proper skills.
Only way I can do it is by manual editing each time I want my young scouts to bring me a decent RB/LB: I edit all Chances for defense to be RB/LB and I edit (I think youthscout.ini or another youth*.ini) the primary and secondary attibutes for Defenders, so scouters bring me RBs/LBs with those primary skills (Speed, Defense, Crosses,...). After I get a decent RB/LB, I undo the changes in files, so defenders will be again mostly CBs and CDMs
Now the question (sorry for huge text): Is it possible to code it permanently in some way to get decent RBs/LBs? Is it just me who can't find proper young RB/LB?
Despite that, I find that CPU team generated players (not young scouted ones) which position is RB/LB have good skills in those primary skills.

3- I have tweaked the chance to get low/high players (in terms of height) in scout.ini so less low players are found. But I don't know why (if bugged or hardcoded) I still find too many low-height players such as 16yo 161cms, 17yo 164cms. Any clue why?

4- When editing scout.ini, there are some lines which talk about traits that should have the new discovered young players. But I have never seen any scouted young player with traits (you know, traits like finesse shot, Flair, Injury Free, Dives into tackles, Tries to beat defensive line, Playmaker, 1-on-1 rush)... Any clue about this? How can we really get young scouted players with traits?

5- I think this one is related to gameplay/handicap: I've been playing Career Mode for at least 4 years. in this last 2 years I noticed that when at the start of a new career I feel as if difficulty is lower, but when I go on playing, at the middle-end of the season, or even in the second, 3rd, 4th season , the CPUAI plays like cheated, animations occur so they precisely tackle, and I can't get the possesion back in many matches. You know all about handicap talks. This year EA included the Adaptative difficulty or something like that (I strongly think it was there in previous titles, but hardcoded). Do you know a way to stablish the difficulty to be plain, so I only decide the CPUAI difficulty in game options?? I don't want scripts to decide which difficulty should apply.
For example, I tried last year to tweak some difficulty values in some ini files (config.ini, rna.ini, cmsettings.ini) but Handicap /CPUAI Cheating still was there.

1. Haven't tried editing .xml scheme, but because EA didn't change the engine, I think this is still limited to 15 seasons.

2/3. See scout.ini and youthscout.ini. Maybe the key is somewhere in the fifadb? :)

4. Will take a look. :)

5. Could you please check the Gameplay Patch? Will need some tweaking, but a few things are still hardcoded. :/

Yeah when playing games, I never sim :)

I tried changing PHYSICAL_STAMINA= but it makes no difference if it's 1,000 or 0.1 unfortunately :(

I guess one solution would be if I change that stamina recovery setting so that nobody can recover their stamina above 90% that could be one backwards solution!

The subjet is BETTER YOUTH PLAYER ACADEMY ATTRIBUTES.

Last year i loved a mod that tweaked that so youth academy players come out of the academy with an overall ratting from 75-85 , so u can make a team full of youth unknown player (season wich i loved play last year)

You know how to mod this and can give me some tips? i am lost right now and i dont even know where to start.

I think it's appropriate to post here because it's something about the mod and career mode.

What I'd like a lot it's to start in the first 11 whatever team I choose to start my career AS PLAYER. If I start as a striker in Chelsea for example, Diego Costa will be in the first 11 into the lineup. Don't misunderstand me, this is fine.. but I'd like in career mode to be able to play for a BIG club since I start...

Managing through the managerai.ini I'm not able to find a way to do this.
Do you have any suggestion ? Thank you!

You can edit the db and create yourself as a player on Chelsea. Then choose to play your career with a player already in the game, you will then be able to choose yourself. Also, if you create yourself with a higher overall than Costa's, dickhead Mourinho will start you out as first team ST.

I'm sorry , I do not know how , I never send anything here , so I'll send you the text.
There are a few things you should know:
- I'm not sure about career mode curve , but does not seem to be used anymore;
- the values are set according to what I want from career growth for players and you can modify it as you want;
-last age set is 36 and seems that after that growth will not happen positive or negative so I set max retirement age 36 in playerretirement.ini and the age for all regen players at 16 , but again this is a personal option;
-I set MATCHEXPERIENCE_MIN at 1 since this does seem to affect player growth;
-about othe features , like form age division I'm not sure;
-you'll see other values changed compared to the original file , but all those are also personal preferences , wich you could test , at least I like the current settings;
-let me know what can I do to help you more , since I am a big fan of career mode , in fact is all I play , and I like modding this;

Another really, really annoying issue, in January when you're looking to sign players on a Bosman, you could be negotiating with the player for 2-3 days, then you get an Email "so and so club have approached the player", you go check the player and it's already a done deal, basically CPU negotiations are instant, is there any way to slow down how quickly the CPU can complete their deals?

There's also the knock on issue of course, you could be looking to sign someone on the cheap because their contract is running out, once the club accepts the offer between getting them to agree wages and finishing the deal a CPU team could nip in and do a Bosman deal, then the next year you're still paying wages for a player that never arrives (bug that's been in the game for 3+ years).

I've updated to Beta 2, but now none of my career games load. I've started a new season and tried offline too. I select PLAY and then the 2 players just stand there. It's not frozen as the players are moving and the ad boards are moving too.

Hey Beta ? What about adaptive difficulty ? I can find string into the product.ini but I noticed you put them into rna.ini
Could you please explain why ? Just curious! :)
Are you satisfied with it ? Adaptive difficulty is something I really hate in videogames.
