Well just started yr 3 on career level. Ok my first year, was on pro level, so I won the league( well that dont count). Anyhow, I moved up to WC in yr 2 finished 8th, didnt win Carlos. That WC level is a different ball game, you experience different performances from your players. These players are terrible when it comes to the close of the season. They just refuse to repond, and tire out at the close of the game,

I Started yr two as chelsea, hoping for champions league glory, sold stanic, cole, and one of my GK. brought in Okocha, hoping to dominate the upcoming season as champions. Well I thought wrong. I switched from a 4-4-2 formation to a 3-5-2- formation, having as usual GK Gudicini, LCB terry , RCB gallas CB derc, CDM makelele LWM duff RWM geremi CM Veron CAM okocha LS mutu RS crespo. bench bridge, babayaro lampard hasslebank, gudjuhnson.


My first game was at highbury, with those bloody gunners, well I came out with a point from that game , hoping to have an easy season, well I got ganged raped by charlton and spurs. The worst game was at old trafford. Mennnn! derc was carded and all hell broke loose, manu violated my defence, we left that stadium, shattard , which lead to the begining of this woefull season. We got knocked out of every cup competition. Mansfield knocked us out of the FA cup, Leicester knocked us out of the league cup, and lyon beat the hell out of us in the second round of the champions league, 4 -0 away , and 1-1 at home. This led to the my home fans refusing to attend the league games.

During the transfer window, I brought in quaresma, but it wasnt easy as Barcelona refused to sell for the price, well after being rejected for a while , I decided to increase my offer and paid about $10m for him. Well he scored only two goals , but it seems if you bring in a new player,into your squad, they tend to give you a woefull performance.

Well the most dramatic aspect of that season, was trying to finish top 6 , well it seems myself, liverpool and southhampton, had the 6th position for grabs, but at the long run , we failed. None of my objectives were completed. So we start a new season, selling okocha to Villa and bringing in rivaldo. His transfer from Milan went on for 5 weeks, finally agreeing a fee of $27m

Yeah, its really difficult , because, the league is long, the players get tired quickly in a match if you dont rest or rotate your sqaud(Bigups to raneire for that) The home teams normally play all out attack. I also noticed when you play away , its really difficult to come out with a piont, so when I now play away, I simply dont rush the home team, I play defensively, using long balls ,with counter attack.

When I played against spurs , kanoute keene, postiga killed me, they have this through ball pass , which they use from the wings, I also noticed, that if u play with a back 3 they will expliot ur left and right defences. I also noticed spurs will walk into my 18 yard box and torment my D my calling them out to come get the ball,using quick passes when i react to their call,I just cannt defend that strategy . The goals dont seem repetitive in WC, cos they attack from all angles, counter attacking even using long range shots when i choke my 18 yard box. I just cannt defend that.

Im using Arsenal and am in my 2nd season on pro level, finished 2nd in my first season behind Aston Villa, went and got Totti(picks up alot of injuries) Denilson and Cisse from Auxerre finding that players are picking up alot of injuries and I am having to play alot of players out of position ex. Edu at striker but I guess it keeps me on my toes.

I also think fifa 2004 was based on the English style of football, quick pace with quick passes. If you rush the game, ure in for it , I like the way the gameplay is designed in a slow format,, which I prefer to the 100m dashes on previous versions. Well I am really enjoying this game.

yeh i started a season with a 2nd division team in england, WC, and got smashed. came almost last. so to be honest i wimped ou and started playing with real madrid. you can really feel the difference in quality!! much easily with real. im still in first season coming top three. the best part about this game is how u can win a game occasionally 2-0 or 3-0, get all confident, and then get smashed 4-1 by a team coming last! its excellent

Here is my career story.......

Ok here is my career story so far.

I started playing on Pro level with Manchester United, lost first 2 game with using 3-5-2 as my formation, but it created the problem, when they counter-attack i dont have players back to defend so i changed to 4-3-3. In the next few matched i got van nistelrooy, scholes, and Keane. It said they would be back on March something, but they did not till the end of the season.

I had Neville bro's in the back with Ferdinand and Silverster, on the right side i used Ronaldo, in the middle i had Kleberson, and on the left ihad Giggs, at CF i used Eric Djamba-Djamba who at the end of the year was the leading scorer, on top i used Forlan and Solskjaer. However they got fatigued so i had to change them with the subs i had. I had bought Wayne Rooney from Everton for 13M i think or so, and i used him on top along with the other, giving all my players some rest.

I ended up winning the EPL, FA Cup and Lague Cup this first year. I had qualified for ECC but i have a feeling i'm going to play teams from EPL in it, which it sucks.

It's off season now, and i have sold few players and brought few players in.

Since i had an awsome attacking team and not that good of defense i had decided to sell few midfielders, and get few good defenders. Also since Scholes, and Nistelrooy came back i got good offensive team so i decided to do the following things in the off-season.

I've Sold: Keane and Giggs
I've Bought: Míchel Salgado Fernández(DEF), Roberto Carlos Da Silva(DEF), and i also brough Beckham back to Man U.

I'm switching to WC Level this new season and will see how it goes.

As far as the speed of the game and all, what i do most of the time is if i'm at home, i try to score an early goal whcih most of the times works, and then i play posession ball most of the time and then i get few goals after. If i'm away i usually start more defending, i keep the posession on my defensive end, passing from one side of the pitch to the other till most of the other team gets out of their half, then its easy just keep passing on one side, then one touch pass to the middle and back outside and there you go, i'm on the fast break most of the times 4vs6, where i have 6 plaayers to do some demage.

Let me know what you think of my career so far, and if you have any suggestions and advices, when i go to the WC now.

so far so good, i was suprised by the gameplay on the wc level, i lost first game to newcastle 2:1, then i killed Ipswithc 5:0, and then i barely won after falling behind to beat everton 2:1, pretty good. I'm going to keep playing this on my flight back home..

Well,,, im in my first season with Cagliari! :P in Semi Pro

At the beggining i needed to do fix some things in the line up... because there were players in the wrong positions... as a defender with good attacking stats...what the **** he was doing in the defence..
Wel.. im right now in the first spot.. with 10 points ahead of the soecond... si i think that is time for Profffesional difficulty. I bought a Player from Bari who complemented evry well my team... and guided by my best player on the team , the one and only Gianfranco Zola, we are doing very well.

But like a guy said before... the players tend to fatigue very quickly!!!! There was a point in the league that all my attackers were with more than 60 of fatigue, and were underperforming... jeje so i was forced to play 4 games with all my reserves...and it was cruel, because my reserves suk so hard. I won 1 game and lost the other 3....... but after that...all my first line up was already rested!!, and in the next game I won 7-2 against Triestina.
Like a guy said before...... what really pisses me off is that strategy of the AI to do quick passes in my GK area!!!. I cant stop that tactc.. because just when you are going to tackle them... they just pass and pass and pass again... till the point that one of them reaches in front of the GK just to do a tab-IN... and if you try to stop them,,, you will mostly do a Penalty Kikc againt you. IMO thats very annoying, and because of that i cant keep my clean sheet sometimes..and sometimes lost.

Hey in the Transfer market i made some bids for players...and the guys refused my bnids... why??

i am in my third season already and am unbeaten from my first season.thankfully i play on semi pro level so that i can score more and find out all the possible cinematics and player details and tricks

Im Fulham in my season, i bought Santa Cruz, Scholl from Bayern München and Gronkjear from Chelsea, Inanmoto is my top scorer with 8 goals. Im about 8th in the league so far went out of the league cup, but thats no biggy n e way i just played Chelsea away and lost 3-2 but not all bad the game it self was so realistic and throughout my season realism has been great.

Hyde, try upping your bid, and if the pc gets interested in ur players, reject the offer and when they try to bid again probably next weeek they increase their offer.

I'm playing as Yeovil. I've got to the third season and am now in the first division and top of the league. Have just got to the league cup final to meet Leeds and have just done a "Portsmouth" on them and beaten them 6-1.

Can Yeovil please have Leeds in the third round of the FA Cup in January?
