But Amica.....he is an extrovert man......sure he behaves stupid sometimes and he says some outrageous things as well......but a lot of it is to invite controversy and get himself attention AND at the same time deflect any media attention away from his players.......i can see why he pisses ppl off.....but he has a reason for doing everything he does ......its not just mindless arrogance. Those guys in the front row yesterday that he was gestering at,with his finger to his lips.....they WERE journalists....when you see a re-run look closely...not one Liverpool supporter in that section of the front row......look at the clothes they wear.....they all remained seated as he did that.....they knew why he was doing it too.......Maybe in Portugal ,a manager can get away with a few more things but remember its his first season in England, and as time goes by we will help him to act a little more calmly......not too much though because the guy oozes passion for the game and that will always be a good thing....whether its Wenger....Ferguson.....or Jose....:D

I think Pede has got it right on the head there. Yesterday's display and all these other things are merely a matter of Jose adjusting to the scrutiny and rancor of the English press, in my opinion. Eventually, the adjustment will be made, and he will be both more respected and more respectful. I can understand alot of people hating him, but keep in mind the only thing that he has been hearing for the last few weeks is about how "Chelsea are flagging, Man Utd are playing better than Chelsea, etc etc", while Fergie and his bunch, knowing how to massage the press well, are issuing warnings on a weekly basis on how they will not give up. Its gotta be pretty taxing to know that the whole world seems like its against you. Anyway, if he was really shushing the crowd, which seems more likely, theres no excuse for that. The man is just under some pressure.

by the way, Yu, are you a ManU fan? Cause if so, its gonna have to remain a hope man :D

just remember that Gerrard's own goal invited Chelsea into the match. Liverpool would have won it, if not for that stupid own goal. Chelsea had almost no attack what so ever.

it was first in the overtime that they took over..
I feel bad for Gerrard.

hehe, has Gerrard gone from hero to zero in Liverpool's fans eyes? ccc :).

And Mourinho, with all his bull****, deverts attention from the players. Its always him him him, i almost never see any player from Chelsea criticised. That means they can focus on the game, instead of worrying what some **** reporter from The Sun writes about him.

Has Jose lost it?

# September 19 - After Tottenham hold out for a goal-less draw at Stamford Bridge Mourinho claimed: 'If I paid £50 to see this match I would have been frustrated because only one team was trying to play football.' This was his first intimidation of Premiership opponents, criticising others' defensive qualities and discouraging teams to park their 'team bus' in front of their goal. Mourinho knows his gameplan is at its most effective when opponents are caught up the pitch by the Blues' pace. CALCULATED.

# January 28 - Mourinho is charged with improper conduct by the Football Association after comments he made after the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final against Manchester United. Mourinho, angered when United boss Sir Alex Ferguson spoke to referee Neale Barry at half-time and by United's second-half tactics, said: 'Sir Alex was very clever, if you can say that, at half-time by putting some pressure on the ref. In the second half it was whistle and whistle, fault and fault, cheat and cheat.' Perhaps attempting to influence the officials in the second leg. CALCULATED.

# January 30 - A Sunday newspaper reports Mourinho, chief executive Peter Kenyon and Arsenal's Ashley Cole had a meeting in the Royal Park Hotel at Lancaster Gate - allegations constituting an illegal approach. Less than a week later the Premier League launch an inquiry. Such a move - if proved - suggests a disregard for authority. CALCULATED.

# February 23 - Following a 2-1 Champions League defeat in Barcelona - in which Didier Drogba was sent off - Mourinho revealed his anger at an alleged half-time incident where Barca manager Frank Rijkaard was accused of entering referee Anders Frisk's dressing room. The Chelsea manager and all of his staff refused to attend the post-match press conference and the club stated they would be making an official complaint. Rijkaard protested his innocence and UEFA's official observers witnessed nothing untoward. More mind games between legs of an important knockout clash. CALCULATED.

# February 27 - An own goal from Liverpool's Steve Gerrard drew his side level at 1-1 in the Carling Cup final. Mourinho wandered along the touchline in front of the Liverpool fans putting his fingers to his lips, which incensed a number of the crowd. The Chelsea manager was then asked to leave the bench and go back inside the stadium. He later claimed his gesture was aimed at the media, who were nevertheless positioned at the other side of the pitch. LOST IT.

Hahaha, its all about the man's grand plan. Drvar is just right: the more crap and vitriol they spew at Jose, and the more he acts like a touchline fairy with all those riddiculous pictures, the less time some muppet from the sun has to write a story about how Chelsea is gonna get Kaka, and Kompany, and Joaquin, and Wright-Phillips, and Fernando Torres* and Ash Cole, oh and Ballack, and unsettle the team with rampant speculation and twisting comments.

*wouldnt mind torres actually  :crazyboy:

Actually my favourite club is Chelsea FC!:D

MANU is my second choice if it had to be:p

Jose is a really clever man,he always wants to protect his boys, let them focus on the pitch instead of rumours and craps.

By the way,SkySports shows that Chelsea would buy Nihat.....Good Choice,a nice freekicker :rockman:

well, good on ya, Edison. I hope to see you posting some in the Chelsea thread too :rockman: . Though I DO hate ManU (not as much as the Arse or some others :p ) I still do have respect for their acomplisments under SAF, and the dominance they had held until the last few years. Anyway, that rumor about Nihat? Wow, thats one of like the 42 footballers left on the planet i have not yet heard was gonna be bought by the Blues, but I guess it wouldnt be bad if it happened. I mean, he is isnt "world class" in most peoples books, but a good, above average attacker, and you mentioned the freekicks. But its good to hear that your a blues fan with all those ManU fans out east. Hopefully, if Kenyon does his job right, that ratio will change in the next few years (H)

Edit: heres what your talking about Edison: Blues Target Nihat

Are you sure people remained seated after he did the gestures? Because if i'm not blind, they all went berserk at Mourinho. Sometimes i wish people werent so civilized in England, here in Brazil he would get spanked if he did that to fans.:(
