There's all this hype about the next Maradona. But learn one thing.
THERE ONLY ONE MARADONA. No one will ever be as he was.
Carlitos Tevez is more of a forward. Great player in him. But this "next Maradona" tag he was given only does bad to his career. El Pibe's ghost is no easy task to handle.
He's not ****e. I think he's not playing up to his best at Germany, but still, he's far from being ****e. Just watch some Argentina games and you'll see.Originally posted by -Vince-
They didn't accept a €18M offer.
Half of the promising South American players turn out to be sh*t or not as good as expected so I'm happy that we didn't spend that money on him. *cough* D'Alessandro *cough*
Robinho can gain muscles, and with the ball he's better than Tevez. He's becoming a good striker too, 15 goals already in the Brazilian Championship, with 20 games to go (or something along these lines). If he gains the strength Kaka gained, he'll be a world class striker in a few years.Originally posted by andy
I think you are mistaken...Tevez is better than Robinho because he is a more complete player. While Robinho has very good ball skills, he lacks strength which is vital in todays soccer. Tevez has a good combination of ball skills and he is a very strong player, knows how to use his body very well to protect the ball...He is also very good at defining plays...
my opinion
