Carreer mode: Buying and selling players?

Ok here's something I can't figure out. When you play in the carreer mode, everytime you "return" from a game you get this menu where you can train your team, read team news and also have a look at the transfer market. My question is how on earth you buy and sell players. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I can only look at the teams and view who's available, nothing more. I definately want to bring in Robben and Van der Vaart but I can't figure out how (in carreer mode, I know how to do in the main menu). Anybody has some advice? Thanks.

Please search the board, this has been answered many times. You have to be within the transfer window to buy or sell. The transfer window changes from league to league, but for most of Europe it's in January and from July-August.
