CEP 4.0 Released?

well, you have to stop adding so many leagues and start fixing what you have and making sure the game works first... this is getting ridiculous. I love the potential but the headaches are too much. And CEP is locked down so much, almost any addon crashes the game when used with it.

I'm sure the suggestions you're giving are going to be crucial for the improvement of CEP for a possible next version.

God needs no suggestions, he is all knowing. He will unleash his fury at each form of criticism and ban you from the list of credits for it. Book of Revelations, CEP Chapter 1, verse 2005.

But since you seem like a new one amongst his followers I shall give you a suggestion but keep it to yourself unless you want God's thunder and lightning hit you from the infinite skies : NEVER LOCK A DATABASE AGAIN.

I am working in a roster update for myself adding all the cmp´s and patches avaliable on the net.

Am I reading that correctly?? You installed CEP, then installed a (no CD/DVD??) crack and then tried to play?? If so, then you need to be aware that CEP installs its own (already cracked) .EXE and almost certainly will not work with any other version.

Yes it works but the first time i tried with the locked db it crashes.

Taken from the CEP website regard roster updates:

"For the future of CEP, during these months, we gathered a very wide group of updaters: contributors who will help us updating the rosters and the information on players for each specific league, so we hope that the work for the future will be more fast and accurate as we are very near to complete the "creation" stage of the CEP project and for the future we will "just" have to update the teams that are already in the patch."

Don´t have big expectations about this. This kind of work already exists in CEP.
I was the responsible for updating the portuguese leagues but Ockham only add a very small part of my information and i have sent a cmp to him so even if there are many people updating the rosters Ockham will always have the last word

Wow, your eyes have started to open finaly, congratulations. Ockham is a self sentered prick that trusts no one to handle his precious (outdated) database. That's why he locked, hid, and crypted it in the first place. He is so paranoid he doesn't even trust his mother I bet.

On top of it all he takes credit for the work of everyone else that works for him like a big executive sitting behind his desk smoking a big cigar while his employees work their asses off and they even idolize him on top of it, lol the summum of stupidity I put some work in the very first version of CEP for Fifa06, but I quit as soon as I saw the real face behind his mask when he revealed it after receiving some suggestions and using some of my discoveries claiming them his own, he even removed me from the credits because I protested LOL.

Now I don't edit Fifa anymore as I have a demanding job and my free time has dwindled to the bare minimum but I might become 100 years old and I will still hold a grudge against mr. Ockham, the self centered idiot and self proclaimed king of Fifa editing, that's for sure.

I never said that i agree with Ockham in all points. I disagree with him in many points. But i like the CEP project and there are good persons collaborting with it
Unfortunatly for CEP, Ockham don´t realize that the rosters of CEP needs to be completely rebuilded. Who cares about adding the new zeland league or the venezuelan 2nd? Of course how many leagues better but it was better to update the rosters of all other leagues first.
And it is not complicated. There are lots of cmp´s patches around the net with the leagues updated and most of that communities have an agreement with CEP.

I am still using CEP but i am adding all the patches in the net to it.

Well i'm looking to get as much of the rosters updated on my CEP 4....can you point me in the right direction? Also, can I have your Portuguese leagues as well since you already did it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I find a much better roster update for portuguese league. I will see if i can use it correctly.

1.How to change the balls ?
2.How to return the boots not stirred ?
3.Why when i update the squads in CM and when i go to play with the team i want the game crashes ?

The last CEP I downloaded was in 2005, they always did and continue to now, remove the graphic files (logos, kits) out of the Zdatas and into the FIFA main folder. The game still loads them and runs just fine it just takes a slight bit more time.

In the past CEP was always uneditable but I know rinaldo has been working hard to ensure that Creation Master would have the capability to edit the CEP patches.

Your problem at the moment is that more than likely you are not opening the database correctly.

As soon as you click on Creation Master 07 and it loads. Go to

FILE -- OPEN CEP.

You will have to do your editing that way. I don't know of any other issues editing the database right now, so if you come across any, I would read the "creation master released" thread and see if you can find an answer there. Rinaldo i know has been working hard on it all.

CEP database is encrypted to be uneditable, Esterry says that the only way to edit CEP is to decrypt the database first then edit it.

Omg,i edited the formations and some boots in CM(Open-->Fifa 07) and now when i click to icon of FIFA it show me a warrning ? Has that justice ?
