ummm.... if u using CEP 4.0 how u gonna go back to 3.2?


and isnt anybody gonna answer me? ...why does it crash after 5 seasons?

The game crashes when there are an offside for everyone here?

I know there are many people with this problem but i want to know if everyone have this prob.

yeah i have this prob....anyway to fix it?

I have talk to Ockham and he don´t know what is cause this problem.

I have sent a PM to Rinaldo. Maybe he can help.

For now simply disable the offsides.


Can someone upload the kits addon for me please?

If that's true, then call the World press, scoop of the century! Ockham doesn't know something! You got to be kidding me.... I bet you're making this up and he really said it's a feature he implemented on purpose LMAO.

Version 3.2 does not have the offside problem. It makes no sense to upgrade to version 4.0 if you have to disable something like offsides to play the game.

It doesn't help that you can't get into the files to check on the problem yourself either.

Open Source is not a bad thing, especially on something as big as CEP and a community as big as this one, there is bound to be somebody that could find the problem and fix it.

I will try a couple of things that Rinaldo told me to see if i can solve this problem.
The problem is not in the db. It´s somewhere in the zdatas or in other files.

now i cant play EPL leagues cause i did all the transfers for the summer in EPL and now it crashes when i select my team......sup wid that?

You can´t continue a carreer after editing with CM.

And i don´t know why it crashes at 5 seasons. May be CEP can´t support more than 5 seasons, or you have youth players with id > 400000 or you exceed the fifa.fat size or some other thing

i know i cant continue...when i edited it i deleted the fifa file in my documents an started over..... but i cant play english leauge..... and i tried mls...it worked....tried English div 1 ...that worked....so i dunno...

May be the database has become corrupted.

Esterry will release a big roster update for CEP very soon so i recommend you to wait a bit before start a new carreer. (You can save your changes by creating a cmp file).

If you want i will sent to you an unlocked CEP db. Esterry told me some time that CEP can crash if you edit it with CM if you have the original "locked" db.

How about you help us a little bit by telling us when it crashes (for instance, does it crash during the between season processing, when you select a sponsor, when you try to start the first game of a new season, or at some other point) and perhaps give a little background like which team you are controlling, how big your squad is, whether you've loaded other 'patches' as well as the CEP etc. (ie. we are not psychic)

well right now the game crashes more than ever...... it crashes during offsides.....i updated the tranfers in EPL and some leagues, and now when i try to start a new epl season it crashes when i select a team or right after the first match

Check your PM.
Do what i say in the PM for unlocking CEP db.
Make a cmp from your changes and put the original CEP db again. Them re-impoort your changes and see if it still crashes.

If this not work may be you have something wrong in your roster. Does any of your team has more than 30 players?.


About the offside issue i am looking at it with the help from Rinaldo.
I will test a couple of things right now.

I have installed a new turf and it looks like the offside problem appears less times. I have managed to get 4 consecutive offsides without crashing.

But this doesn´t solve the problem.


Can someone try to replace all the files located in the folder\FIFA 07\data\cmn\be for the originals?

After a look in the Zdatas i found that some zdatas has only 1 file (zdata15, zdata34, zdata35).
I don´t know if this is normal but these zdatas might be corrupted.
Can someone see what these zdatas have in the original game and replace the CEP ones for the original ones?

I am not sure if this will solve the problem but we should try all the possibilities.

hmm well i unlocked CEP @ bruno..... i have a feeling its the rosters that got messed up while updating them..... some teams have over 30 players so i'm gonna change that and try again
