Curling = The massive

And Chelsea v Barca isn't the best game, they're just big names. The field at stamford bridge resembles a war zone meaning Barca won't be able to play their passing style and boring ass Chelsea will control the game.

it means not much entertainment value for us neutral viewers
Whats not entertaining seeing the best side there is in the English game, if not Europe controlling the game? :chew:

It was the most entertaining tie period, last year, and that was with complaints about our pitch then. If nothing else, then you cant bitch about the Nou camp, where the green has been freshly laid.

The effective teams aren't usually fun to watch.

Graham's Arsenal is an example, Mourinho's Porto is another...and yes, his Chelsea is the same. There are better teams to watch in those leagues.

Wenger's unbeaten Arsenal was an exception. Fergie has had his moment, and Barca this year have theirs.

But the fun teams to watch usually aren't that great, because they play like their lives are on the line.

Agreed, but we have Ricardo Carvalho in our backline...that bastard is "fun" enough for me, because hes constantly out of position or lunging to make the challenge, and thus provides plenty of un-dull moments (C) (Portugeezers settle: I love Riccy C)

But pretty much agreed. We're effective, and thus, we're boring despite playing a 4-3-3 with wingers that dont defend. The Nou Camp leg, in my opinion will be the most entertaining, dollars to doughnuts. It might just rival the Arsenal-Real tie in terms of entertainment value

I don't know...i thought Liverpool-Chelsea was the best tie of the tournament last year, but somehow i doubt you'll agree with me ;)

That's my neutral point of view anyway.

TSN.ca's now showing that Real-Arsenal will be shown at 5pm to make way for USA-Russia Olympic Men's hockey :| and as I suspected, Chelsea-Barca isn't being shown live to show Curling :nape:

I wouldn't mind if they replaced Real-Arse with a live Canada game, but who the **** cares about USA vs Russia PRELIMINARIES?! :nape:

and as for curling, well we all know my feelings about that.
