is not that you 'unlock' it, you just qualify for it

Using CM07, go to "tournaments", select "Champions league" from the tournaments availables and change the "tournament id" to a number below to 95, i´m using 94 for the uefa cup and 95 for the champions league and that's it, you'll have the champions league or the uefa cup for playing on the 1st season on mode manager.
If u want to the champions and/or the uefa cup appears also like a tournament, it´s simple, u have to check the box that appears on the same screen called "Appears in tournament mode".

Mine crashes when I select EEC in Tournament Mode. I reinstalled the game but it didn't help.

sounds like it's something wrong with the database, did u try to: reinstall the game, 2-install cm07, 3-modify the EEC (tournament ID=93, country=rest of the world, Qualify from previous season=checked, Appears in tournament mode=checked, Appears in career mode=checked), 3-run fatbhbuilder, 4-start a NEW tournament in EEC?

You missed a step, which might help those with crash problems, before attempting to start a new tournament, you need to reset squads.

YES! thank you for posting that! that is probably the number 1 cause for the crashes.

Yes, it works! Thanks Now I have another problem though. I can't find a roster update that works with CM. I used to have the roster patch form fifax.net installed but apparently CM overwrote it. I tried to reinstall the patch but it didnt help, when I go to My Squads there is nothing there. The same thing happens with the official EA patch. Any advice? Thanks.

If you use the official patch, you can't edit anything at all.
And after you edited something, you can't use patches anymore, because they overwrite your modifications.

That's the way things are, it seems that CM07 are not compatible with the rosters updates, u have to choose: or play with the roster updates or manage the CM07 to edit the roster, with the advantage that u can also create with CM07 leagues, tournaments, players, etc. so i choose the CM07 by far.
