Adidas = 14 CL trophies
Nike = 5 CL trophies

which makes Adidas the victor.

its 6 trophies though.

well, you can add Milan (7) and Bayern (4) trophies to the mix as well.

Addidas teams have a great history in UCL, and I think addidas is the sponsor of UCL as well. no relation at all, pure coincidence.:innocent_smile_1:

In fact United had umbro for the 1998/1999 CL and no brand for the 1968 CL. We wore Adidas in the early 1990s. Many of these teams had different brands or no brands at all when they won these trophies.

Does Adidas exist when they won their first 6 amphoras?

Have you ever seen your team winning a league?...

Yes. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was a typically warm North American afternoon in late May. As I was outdoors, I missed nearly the entire first half and only tuned in at the end. Hernan Crespo and Ricardo Kaka were in lethal form and the ESPN commentators were slurping up the "sexy" football that AC Milan were playing. Out of sheer disgust, I turned off the TV and went for a shower(it must have been around 4:00 pm). I came back expecting either 3-2 or 5-0. It was 3-3, I sat on the couch and nervously watched the remainder of the game (around 20 minutes of regulation time and 20 minutes of extra time). There were times when I couldn't bare to watch. But I managed to make it through. The game went to a penalty shootout and MY TEAM WON THE GREATEST "LEAGUE" COMPETITION IN ALL THE WORRRRRRLLLDDDD......THE 2005 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

And then, at midnight, I watched a replay of the ENTIRE game.....

Technically, Champions' League is closer to a cup competition than a league, wouldn't you agree?

Well, it you want to be that picky, have a look at his original post.....you'll see the word "League". Then have a look at the word Champions League.....you'll see that SAME word...League.

Don't you just love the English language?

I just bought a Diego jersey for 30 bucks with shipping and everything from this site. Let's see if the quality of this baby is good. $30 for a jersey is a sweet deal, they better not be fake or low-quality crap. For some reason I suspect they are and only a close examination will confirm it, we'll see.

Just an update on this, although no one probably cares. I've worn the shirt about 3-4 times now and part of the name has been peeled off. Can't say I'm surprised so I think anyone looking at cheap jerseys should just surrender 70 bucks for a good quality replica that will last a lifetime.

I was looking for this thread... Using the facebook page someone posted here, I just realized that thefootball shirt has again moved its website, if anyone is still interested.

P.S: After wearing the away Barça shirt and washing it many times, the number and name is still in a good quality.

Any new working sites?

Thought I'd buy my first united kit in 7 years but for several reasons, I don't want to buy from the official store.
