tis rather revolting, really....I mean....wow....that much for Raul?

that kid his highly overrated by the Spanish Media, man...he isn't even the best foward/striker on his own team....that title belongs to Ronaldo!

there's no way he'd leave his comfortable spot in Madrid..if he did, he'd be quickly exposed for the over-hyped and over-idolized player that he is....

because that spot belongs to ronaldo, who JUST HAPPENS to be the best striker in the world.

go figure. you havent seen raul play for the spanish nt, or madrid for that matter? he conjures something from nothing... and he's not hot-and-cold either, effective, consistent.

yeah but 71.4 million POUNDS for ONE player, chelsea are you fcking crazy?

if the offer was 120m Real Madrid would be forced to accept most likely, I bet his minimum release fee is between 80 - 100m

Raul is world class and easily in the top 5 strikers in the world but he aint worth that much (especially in the current football economy).

yeah... raul is good but real madrid would wanna accept a bigger offer then that... maybe because they are hungrier for more talented players.........

F*ck me then. :o :o :o

offer 80m then, after all... Madrid did say they would accept even if a club offered half of his release, but since its a billionaire, they won't accept and milk him. :crazyboy:

Raul isn't overrated, but i think offering 100 million € for Raul is overrating him. (i think no player is worth that much)

This is just getting fúcking redicules spending that much on 1 player who could be a total flop playing in the premiership.

I seriously think there should be some kind of law passed by FIFA for only spending a maximum of £30 million spent on one players. At this rate this could all backfire for Chelsea. It's happened before to clubs on a smaller scale who are now really feeling the consequences for example when Bradford City got promotion to the premierhsip they had alarge spending spree. The team didn't perform, the gates decreased and they hit huge debt and recent example would be Leeds. I just hope this all doesn't backfire for Chelsea because if they don't perform well this season there going to hit big problems.

Raul, overrated? Blasphemy! Chelsea dont have a chance in hell to get Raul. Florentino would never sell him, seeing as if he were ever to sell him, he'd be shot and killed the next day.
