Do u u guys think that the fact that chelsea is sponserd by adidas and so is Ashley Cole had anything to do with the deal?

Yes but chelsea knew they were going to be sponserd by adidas for this season about a year ago.

Well it was just a myth anyway.

I thought that we'd have to pay a lot more than 5 million but at least it's happened.

The problem now is that Chelsea's only got three defenders (Terry, Carvalho, Boulahrouz-I still can't spell his name) seeing how Chelsea's lost Huth and Gallas.

What happened to us getting Vincent Kompany? He's still really young.

PS: Gallas is 29 and Cole is 25 so...

At least we drug test our players which is more than any other club do, and we caught two coke heads. The end justifies the means.

These Gooners should really stop whinging. They weren't going anywhere with Cole, and Gallas isn't a completely defensive player which is something that they're concerned with. Gallas scored around 5 goals last season and at least 2 of those were winners and I remember one of them came after we lost to Barcelone.

What are FM freaks.

who was the other coke head? i just know mutu, poor Bridge he was playing great and now cole is most likely gonna take his place

I dont see Cole replacing Bridge to be honest. Apart from the fact that Bridge is having a fantastic season so far, I feel sure that Jose, who has been singing his praises, has assured him that his place is safe. Ashley will have to wait his turn I think. I would guess that Jose made that clear during the contract talks. We need them both so hopefully these issues have been dealt with. Jose mentioned that he would also like to play Cole on the wing where his attacking flair can be utilised. He would be very effective tracking back to defend at the same time. Bridge has also played in central defence in his career so he could be cover in that position too if needed.

Two things:

With the Mutu drug test, im really not surprised. Jose seemingly had it out for him immediately. Head case, yes, but as a 2nd/3rd striker he was full of talent as well as trouble. The club shouldve reached out to him a big more, but I got the feeling as that saga was going on that they were looking for a way to just dump him in any way possible

Regarding Bridgey, I think he will be just fine, seriously. Right now we have Cole, Robben and SWP to play on the wings, and Kalou to part time there. I cant find it, but I remember jose saying something recently about switching things around a bit, and using either Bridge or Cashley (more likely the latter) as an attacking option on the leftside. I think either of them would be fine out there, and defenisvely, I trust Bridge more than Cash

Here's Billy boy whinging about Jose. Funny how only the players with big heads and even bigger ego's fall out with Jose aint it? I also do not recall any other clubs apart from Arsenal showing any interest in Gallas at all during this transfer window. I bet Billy boy was amazed at that. He must have thought every big club in Europe would want him. Instead he gets traded in for a newer model to Arsenal........ :funny:

The more he opens his mouth only increases the amount of people who will be reluctant to support him any longer.

Do we as fans now give him a nasty nickname and treat him like s.h.i.t? Or are we just gonna continue to kiss gooner arse and join with them in slagging off a player that DOES want to play for us? Not a difficult choice really if you love the club IMO.
