well i put my managers name down as Claudio Ranieri as in my opinion it is more realistic and my nationality was italian. My main purpose by taking over the Chelsea was to take them to the champions league well at the moment ive completed 31 matches of the season (also im playin wif the latest update).Im currently comin 6th the highlights of my season were beatin Man Utd at home.We drew 2-2 with them at old trafford which was a posetive result and then we lost in the opening game of the fa cup match between them at home 2-0.But 2 weeks after we took them on in a premeir ship match at home and we won that so 2-0.im dissapointed as i also lost in the 1st round in the league cup which i was aiming to win.But making the champions league would be just as good as silverware also we lost in the first round of the uefa cup 2-1 on aggregate to AIK.We are currently in 6th just ahead of Middlesbrough and just behind Newcastle on for and against.The problem is just have a look at these results-Liverpool-1-1 at anfield
Arsenal -2-1 victory to me at home
Man utd-2-2 at old trafford
man utd-2-0 win for me at home
leeds-1-1 at home
man city-0-1 loss at home
fulham-0-3 loss -away
everton-1-1 draw at home

its practically the same old stroy for chelsea we peform excellent against the big teams but fail against the smaller wons.I also had 2 nil nil scorelines against west ham in the prem.So im hopeing to make the champions league but with a tough run home i think iLL come 6th.i still have arsenal away to come.My top goal scorers are hasselbaink and gudjohnsen who have 30 goals between them and lampard has got 5 this season,so guys where do u think iLL come.REALISTICALLY?

i think you could do well, possibly make up another two places, in my view, lets take an example: you lost 1-0 to man city, at home. What i would try to do with Chelseas attacking force, is try not to let them have the ball, just go with the 2-1-4-1-2 attacking, short passing for those sort of games, you should be getting over 60% all the time, if not, change your passsing type around untill you do, with dessaily and gallas at back with....... petit in front it should work well.... Then again, the best person to ask is Chelseafan88 bout that!

Some of those results are excellent, but others are less good. I play with Chelsea regularly and I find I have no trouble against the weaker teams and problems against the stronger ones. However, I have pretty much mastered the art of Chelsea management now and very rarely lose more than a couple of games a season.

The team I would recommend for a fast, free scoreing Chelsea side would be:

GK: Cudicini (even better Chiotis if you've got him).

DL: Babayaro DC: Terry DR: Gallas

DMC: Desailly

ML: Zenden MC: Petit MR: Gronkjaer or Stanic

AMC: Zola

FC: Hasselbaink FC: Forrsell

SUBS: De Goey, Ferrer, Lampard, Dalla Bona, Gudjohnssen.

Have you signed/sold any players yet?

If not, Sell Ambrosetti, Alesidze, Melchiot, Bosnich and Cummings.

May I recommend you buy: Ventola (when he becomes unhappy at Inter), Ilie, Said, Chiotis, Niki, Ronald Gomez (he is as good as TROD says), Webber.

I have been a Chelsea supporter for over half my life and have played champ with chelsea for a third of it and am quite experienced so feel free to ask me any questions and I'll do my best to answer them.

i agree with everything you've said, but Illie is very, very, very, very poor in my opinion, played terribly for me at Valecia, so i sold him for 9m.

It is not difficult to beat Liverpool away in CM. Gerrard is crap in CM and Liverpool arn't as good as real life.

I have a lot of respect for Liverpool, I LOVE watching them play. I think Meseuir Houllier is a great manager and am a huge fan of Hyypia and Henchoz.

I've beaten them 4-0 away with chelsea in CM though.

75% of your whole CM experience with Chelsea. Ahh, I hate to see a healthy, young CM manager go to waste with a team like Chelsea.. But i'm not talking about you. anyway, how can you spend 75%?? i've probably spent 20% on Lazio, 20% on Arsenal, 20% on Bayern, 10% withGroningen, 5% with Brisbane Strikers, 15% with Real Madrid, 5% on Millwall and 5% between Leeds and Hannover 96

but anyway, aside from that, I just got promoted as Millwall and I'm 15th or so after 10 games, but I've had some hard games (Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Arsenal, Man Utd.) But also I've lost to Everton, Charlton (they were relegated but I lost in the League Cup third round 0-3.)
I've introduced Wes Brown, Solksjaer, Wolters, and Steve Finnan although my former star partner of Kinet, Reid, is losing his great performances and I just cant seem to win a match I should've, but sometimes I win matches I'd expect to've drawn..
What can I do?? I switch between 1-4-3-2 Sweeper and 3-5-2, but still it's difficult.
Any advice?

I have too many strikers (Savarese, Samba, Wiltord, Solksjaer) I just need a tactic.
Oh yeah.. I usually think that all of the 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 5-3-2 are bad because they are plain, default tactics.. but are they?? 4-4-2 would be an ideal tactic for me but its real plain..
