a shocker.. a shocker... i wonder how roman feel like now... but to be frank this result is expected to come soon as their defence doesn't look as solid during the last few matches... they could have lost to aston villa during the weekend if not for the poor finishing of angel... but i saw the 2nd goal it was funny though....

chelsea aren't and shouldn't be too worried though. they should still qualify for the next phase. they haven't played too well lately, but you kinda expect that anyways for a team full of newcomers.

im happy for besiktas cas of mircea lucescu, one of the best managers in europe in my opinion, he's doing a good job over there. chelsea are gonna qualify neway so does it really matter that they lost?

Wow I wasn't expecting this. I was expecting like 5-0, 6-0... for Chelsea. Besiktas is on fire these days in the Turkish league also, they had the derby match on the weekend against Trabzonspor which killed Trabzon by 5-0. If they continue their top performance, Besiktas will go through to the next round. And about Ilhan Mansiz, him and Hasan Sas are ****ing idiots.

Nice game. Besiktas played brilliant, although they were only 10 men in second half because of Mansiz's double "mistake".
Chelsea wasn't able to score because Besiktas made a great job in the defense.
Ranieri did two mistakes:
First; JFH for Crespo (thats crap in my opinion)
Second; He forced Gallas to play in the second half, but he knew he was clearly injured !

After all, nice CL-Match. 2 nice goals from Sergen.

everyone loses even if they are full of stars, look at real madrid they lose too and holland has a star studded team and they f*cking underachieve so what if chelsea loses. And i hope that chelsea does good this year eventho im not a chelsea fan i dont want them to do bad because it would be bad for them after spending all that money. By the way i would like to see mutu and hasslebaink start cuz i dont know whats wrong with crespo. So i hope they get it together and start playing great football that they are capable off becuz i love to see good football no matter what team it is, and chelsea has the potential for showing me magical football so thats why i want them to do good.

chelsea has some flashes of awsome play but they just tryed to be too fancy at some stages. i didnt like that formation 1 bit. they need to play 4-4-2 or even 3-5-2 but atm the defence isnt looking too solid.

duff should have started imo because hes been 1 of chelseas most consistent and hard working players. the subs at the start of the second half wernt good i think.

The time wasting stuff was quite ugly. I think what is expected is a professional attitude. The time wasting, diving and possible faking of injuries are not a part of that. Playing with 10 men while playing for the result have nothing to do with such disgracefull tactics.

IMO Chelsea were unlucky not to get a goal. They created many chances but did not have the finnish needed.

I think Mutu and Crespo should have been left on. They were not playing bad, just not getting the ball to go their way. They would have broken through eventually. Ranneri was a little rash with the subs at half time. It could have waited. If anything a midfielder should have come off for JFH first.'

Besiktas played well in defense how ever and got the win, which on another day would not have been theirs. It was hardly an even match but somehow they held on, so credit to them.

The Chelsea defense is not as solid as last year for some reason even though the same players are there. I really dont know why. I thought the first goal was actually a decent bit of football from Besiktas. Marking could have been better but the ball came in there fast and Terry did try to block. The second one Desailly stumbled and Cudicini turned his brain off for a moment.

Star players is not the way to be a "team". Beþiktaþ is a team, but chelsea isn't.They're just players who play individually now.and ranieri's a stupid man, chelsea need to get a better coach.Lucescu is much better than ranieri.and i wanna say that ilhan mansiz is a f.uckin bastard.
