I still can't get over the fact we're all talking about SHearer here... how ridiculous
Anyway, I'm glad because It's a win win situation now for the game this week. I want Chelsea to win, as I always root for the British teams, yet if Barcelona cain them, then it'll be fun to see what the Kaycemaster has to say.

Look, simple fact is Shearer WAS a world beater in his prime, you don't score 98 League goals in three seasons at any point in your career if you're as **** as kaycee suggests. No one is claiming he was the best the world has ever seen, especially not me.
His opinion of Alan seems to be based on the last 2 years of his career when he was wobbling about 35 year old, scoring penalties and the odd goal here and there.

Henning Berg won three league titles, the only player to win two premiership championships with different clubs. He also has an FA CUP winners medal and a European Champions league medal. Would you list him in the worlds top defenders?
