You are rating him based on one Under 21 tounament, where he did well against some guy called Palleta who i never even heard of yet and Senderos, who doesn't start for Arsenal anymore. And don't you dare say that Obi has as good of a close control as Okocha or Zidane, you must be tripping on acid to think that the guy is anywhere near as smart and skillful as Jay Jay or Zinadine were.

Again this is Zidane and Okocha we are talking about. First of all good vision is not soccer intelligence and second, how many legends compared themselves to rising stars? A bit too many and some even compared themselves to multiple youngsters. How many of them actually lived up to the name? Few.
And do you take everything Mourinho says literally? I don't really feel like busting out a book of Jose's exaggerated comments right now.

. At least i can see where he stands at. If Obi had the intelligence and skill of Zidane or Okocha at his current age, Chelsea would have had to pay MUCH MUCH more than 16 million to get him. And keep in mind that this is Chelsea we are talking about, divide the price in half and you will get the maximum amount that any other club would pay for that player. You don't just go around and compare players to Zidane, even Ronaldinho is not at the level of what Zidane once was yet. Don't get me wrong, Obi is one of the best under 20 midfielders in the world, but he still has nothing to what Zidane has. Saviola was hailed as the new Maradonna as well, is he getting close to him yet?SlowSilver
