Hi folks,

Since I'm very fascinated by all these fantastic facemakers (Cigman, Dap etc.) that are around, I also want to make my contribution to this fantastic PES/WE Community by starting doing faces on my own.

I'll have to add that I don't use Oedit, thus these faces should work on the PS2 as well. I use the default Konami 3D models and simply just try to adjust the best one to each player to get the highest resemblance.

As I'm a Borussia Dortmund Fan, I'll had/have a go at some BVB player's faces at first.

Check 'em out and please leave a comment on how you like 'em and what to improve.

Wow, great faces! Do you have a special program for edit faces, cause i want to make faces too for a Gouden Gids Divisie patch, (Gouden Gids Divisie is Dutch First Division) but I don't know how it works...

Not a special program, I just use Photoshop to work on images and pics.

Yeah, it's a kind of video tutorial. It's very helpful and definately worth the download. It shows step by step what you have to do to transform a photo into a PES face texture.

Don't wonder it's an exe file inside the rar.

Nope, it's to hard for me without Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. I only have Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004 and PhotoImpact 10. But thanks for the links.

But can you (Chris79) make that face that I posted for me?

Well, to be honest I'm pretty busy at the moment with my work, so if I feel there's any room to do this face I will try, mate. But the pic isn't really useful as the player's smiling too much on it. If I'll give him a go, I'll search for some better pic. ;)

I know Smolarek, Jan Koller, David Odonkor and Dede.

Smolarek I know from Feyenoord (I'm Dutch and i'm fan from PSV), I know Jan Koller from the games Holland-Czech Republik, I know David Odonkor, I saw a game on TV (I think it was Dortmund-Bayern Munchen) and Odonkor made a dive, and he gets a penalty, but it wasn't a penalty. This was a few years back, 2 or 3. Am I right Chris79? :) . Dede I know too, I know many players of the Bundesliga, I see many matches on TV.

By the way, great faces!

Just wondered a bit cuz I just got the impression that there are not many guys around that do know some of the less known players due to the less comments.

For me it's important to get opinions on the resemblance of these created players. Thus it's necessary that you know these players to be able to have a basis to compare.

Furthermore in my case (or for every other facemaker) I have the feeling to lose some objectivity when you're really busy with picture editing, texture enhancement etc.

So every subjective first-impression comment is welcome.
In case of Dede, for example, I personally tend to version 1 in regard to his resemblance, although I think the 2nd version has a better texture but that counts less than resemblance in my opinion.

Would really love to get seperate comments on each player in regard to liking or what to improve.

Looking forward to your opinions.

Yes, you're right, PSVFan.
David Odonkor is a very promising young right-wing player due to his sensational speediness. He's the fastest player in the league and runs the 100m below 11 sec!

Smolarek is a great striker. As you know Dortmund has a lot of problems due to numerous injuries this seasons, so we're really glad Ebi is still healthy and in an excellent condition. Furthermore he's the 2nd best scorer in the league, right after Miroslav Klose from Werder Bremen.
I'm glad van Marwijk could get him from Feyenoord.

Thus both players definately deserve a face, imo. ;)
