that's what I call posting dude! great work

Thanks man, it seems the most exciting word in my life at the moment is either Spielberichte or Bildergalerie :bob:

I see it not as posting, but illuminating the many valleys and plains of the German Sprachraum, then again after my Adidasfest through Bavaria I need to focus more on the former DDR.

I really should reupdate the index, but then again there are kits for many important teams still to be made.
I mean what would the world do without the fine Trikots of VfR Neumunster? or TuS Koblenz - I mean they were even in the 2. Bundesliga at one stage and their Stadt has a fairly impressive statue of a dude on a horse... :)

Once upon a time I made a wee trip through a sunny wee part of the world called Kiel. It was a pretty mad time as my brother was working near the Yacht Club at the Olympiahafen (site of the 1972 Olympic Sailing events) and it was Kieler Woche which was the German Kaiser's attempt at Cowes Week originally.

Anyway, Kiel is a nice enough place on the Baltic (Ostsee) coast home to the Nordsee-Ostsee Kanal which meant that German shipping didn't need to go around the top of Denmark.

The local football team is Holstein Kiel, named for the Duchy of Holstein (Holsten in local parlance) though I notice on my visit that they also enjoyed Handball a bit in those parts.

Now for the ever awaited heavy weights of Northern German football - VFR Neumunster.
A sojourn once from Denmark to Hamburg took me over this massive bridge which was over the Nordsee-Ostee Kanal near the town of Neumunster - very picturesque...

Next kit is perhaps long overdue in the eyes of some - TuS Koblenz a team which has seen football in the 2. Bundesliga in the last wee while.

Koblenz itself is a nice enough place at point where the Moselle flows into the Rhine. It does so at quite a rate at a place known as the "Deutsches Eck" - German Corner. There is also a recontructed statue of the German Kaiser on a horse and the flags of all the Bundeslaender (Federal States). There are also the names of various states which include some places which were not part of FR Germany at the time of the building, including the Saar and the DDR.

Koblenz is also where I used to change trains a wee bit when visiting Luxembourg and the trip through the Weinberge of the Moselle with all those Riesling grapes is well worth the price of admission (train ticket)

Anyway back to the kits

Information on TSV Havelse's Away and GK kits seems at best illusive - Schade... Perhaps someone on here has some exciting way of fixing this...?

Hey Chuck, why do all the links of Highland League teams lead to Wick Academy?

Is it by design or you made a mistake there?

Plus, there's no link at all for Fort William kits.

Links appear to be a wee bit confused due to my perpetually bad happen of pressing (Shift+Enter) to finish a line of text. I shall remedy it someday soon.
All the kits for the other seems (except one) can be found in the first few pages of the thread.

As for Fort William, the truth is that noone is really sure what is going on with their kits, some weeks they turn up in Pre-American takeover Nike gear or sometimes in polished American supplied stuff or sometimes in last year's Macron contraption. Noone is really sure. The club is not in the best of ways.

Finally managed to find some nice pics of the TSV Havelse Away ang GK kits. It is amazing home a team in red can always be found wearing red especially when in a leave with Hannover II, Neuoberland and Wilhelmshaven to name a few.

I feel I must state here for all those passionate Highland League fans out there that at no time am I showing any favouritism to Wick Academy, nor am I setting out to offend folk who almost live in Orkney, simply put I am Wick Neutral...

I thought I'd share the Wick Kits first in this thread as the end of the HFL seems as very good place to start. Also, truth be told I made those kits a couple of years back and Caithnessesss finest haven't changed their kits in the meantime. Just to make sure everyone understands me, I don't mean that they havent washed their kits - I mean they are a wee bit faded but I'm sure the lass who washes them does well from it to support her bairns.

Like most Scots (If that Tennent's Caledonia ad is to be beleived) I shall be headed back to Scotland in a kit making way once I've finsihed dealing with these Germans and their 5 Regionalliga.

Next up Weiche Flensburg... Watch this space - getting gold to show up shiny is always a challenge.

Then again maybe I should fix the indexes - I've made a few wee kits that nobody would bother making since I last balls them up
