@ regularcat: Maybe you should also read this thread more carefully? In the first message I read 'No requests please'... and the only thing I see is people who want their own scoreboard to be made by this magnificent modder.

@ CJD17: I have many respect for you, your work is brilliant. I have also been a modder for the cycling manager games and I think is VERY NORMAL that people want a download link for f.e. the Champions League scoreboard, which has been presented in November 2010.

I regret what's happening in this topic, but I also understand those who ask for the download link. And PLEASE regularcat be an example... your message at this page (edit: a page ago) looks like you are very angry. Why? Everyone knows that your patches and those of CJD17 are magnificent. These things are beautiful, then why be so angry? The only reason people want to download the scoreboards is because CJD17's work is PERFECT!!! Keep on doing it!!

i am angry, because cjd17 said when he releases he will release it.
there is no need to bad mouth him or make a stupid comment because there
is no download link or because they dont like what they are reading.

if cjd17 said it will be released when its ready, then wait until its ready.
dont ask for a link a million times, do bother the modder who is nice enough to share in the first place.

its rude, annoying & obnoxious, when will members learn we dont owe them anything.

wait for a link, if he/she says there will be no link, suck it up or make it yourself.

handouts are done here & i will talk to my peoples on sg that make mods about seeing it my way.

better hope it doesnt happen, cause then members will really have something to bitch about.

then they can let me know how boring fifa is w/o any mods.

i agree with you man, but sg is an open forum. I mean it takes about 10 seconds to register, so there are and will always be people who trash talk or bitch about ...well... pretty much anything, even the greatest mod will draw those comments.

And as much as i understand, reacting angry and raising the "we wont mod for you anymore if you dont shut up" wall will only poison this forum further for the, lets call em "true" sg-members who do appreciate your mods and value the work behind it (And thats the majority).

So to all the modders, as hard as it is, i think it would be the best to just ignore those comments all together, because they do not represent the community, so dont let them ruin this great creative-sharing environment sg still is by playing into them. Just keep your cool and keep making your awesome stuff! :-)

Sorry if you think I'm one of those like a "4 year old...looking at pictures".

All I was saying is that I can't ever understand the 'wait until it's 100% perfect' logic. We can all see that there is some incredible work going on, and I'm saying from my perspective I would rather play than your new patch even at 40%, than the current EA scoreboards at 100%!

I'm sure many other users would feel the same. What's the worst that can happen, a couple of users say they don't like the very early betas? I'm sure you can deal with that, and at the same time, many people get to play a better version of FIFA.

I have indeed read the whole thread, I've been waiting patiently post-by-post like everyone else, I just personally just have the mentality of trying to make the best FIFA game for as many people as possible through sharing, but I guess we'll have to be patient for the perfectionism of the users who are creating these amazing patches.

Thank you for your work, time and effort. Appreciated by all!

Off course I understand you regularcat. But I hope you also listen to me... I released more than 30 big database projects (about 1,5 GB / project) in Europe and I never had such problems I see in a lot of topics here at this forum. In first place you, as a GREAT modder, have to show the very best behaviour because people look at you as an example. You 're the best for a lot of people and when you react like 'they have to shut up' or 'suck it up' than you make a big mistake.

You know what's the biggest problem here? Communication! In the first message of this topic I see a big mistake... misleading a lot of members here and it will always go on when this message hasn't got the RIGHT information.

- No requests please: that's not true!
- CL scoreboard (23 November 2010): very misleading information. It has been made at 23 November? So why it isn't still be available?
- Why there is nothing in the first message saying: the download isn't yet available, so don't ask because you'll see when it's ready. If you put this sentence in the first message and you repeat this at each page: "look at the first message for more information" you will NEVER get those problems on each page and you can use that time spending on arguying (?) everyone for something else.

yesterday late at night during the oscars i gave the hexing thing a little try and thanks to the hint from regularcat (big thx again btw :-) ) I figured out some stuff already. Took me a while to go for the float values ^^ ... tricky but as you said, really not that hard when you see the pattern. I must say, looking thru the sb-files of CJD17 I really admire you guys even more. I never understand how you could see all that in the first place, yet alone make a sb that complex. This is just amazing stuff!

So far I managed to move pretty much all the sb-pieces around on the screen, which should give me enough already to make pretty much every sb layout. Still have to look for the color-values thou. But my notes are made and when im home from work ill try to continue. I'll post in here as soon as i get something worth showing

Ill also try to write down what i found (offsets etc.) as good and detailed as i can, which isnt much, but maybe, just maybe, it will be enough for a progger to make a basic sb-tool with em.

Hey CJD17! :) I really love your EPL Scoreboard! (Y) But I have a question, along with English teams, even the International teams and other leagues got the EPL Scoreboard now. You have any idea how to fix that? :)
