This was predictable. Leverkusen are 90% of the time the best team when they play at home. I learned this when Dortmund lost 3-0 and 4-0 there. Last weeks 4-1 win over Bayern just proved my point and tonight's 3-0 win sealed it.
Players need to be judged by what they will do in the future and not what they have done in the past; therefore, Raul needs to be benched and feel what Owen felt today.

Leverkusen are always amazing in Europe really. They could have completely humilliated Real today. Losing for just 3 - 0 with the amount of chances Bayer had is a good result for Madrid, they could have easily lost 5 or 6 - 0

As Vince stated earlier, Leverkusen are a very inconsistent side. They can make it to a CL final one year and not even progress to the 2nd group stage the next year. Or trash Bayern 4-1 one week and lose to a newly promoted team the next.
