''UEFA told to drop suspensions''? By whom?
FIFPro [LINK] ... I've always wanted to see yellow cards being wiped before the semis, so there's no accumulation nonsense jeopardizing the final for any player ...

Yeah, the yellow card business is terrible. Terry has been given permission to celebrate on the pitch and lift the title if we win. If that happens, I'd love for Frank and him to lift it together, but from what I've read, both will let the other lift, so Ashley Cole will do it.

I just don't want penalties.

Getting near, so team news are becoming more important. I'm reading that Lahm, Gomez and Robben didn't train yesterday, so they might not be 100% fit, alongside Schweinsteiger. I've also read that Tymoschuk will play CB with van Buyten having missed so long through injury and Contento at LB.

In Chelsea news, Malouda didn't train and could miss, and RDM has suggested that he might have to call up reserve players for this match. But in good news, David Luiz and Cahill have started proper, heavy training and assuming there are no set-backs, should be available for the final.

I'd like Bayern to win, just because they were a powerhouse in the early 2000s when I started watching CL and getting more interested in football. kinda reminds me of those times, even though I think I hated them a lot back then - they were what Barcelona is for me now.

Of if you've read the Bayern thread, you would have known this 10 days ago.

Some of you might be interested in this... The lineup against Koln this weekend did not include any of the players suspended for the Champions League Final. I'd say there are very good odds that we will line up like this on May 19th...

Neuer
Lahm-Tymoschuk-Boateng-Contento
Schweinsteiger-Kroos
Robben-Muller-Ribery
Gomez

Nope.
