according to seedorf, dida had a small burn on his shoulder, but he was alright. I'm sure he would have continued to play, because dida is a tough brotha

This doesn't just happen in Italy. I was at an NSL (National Soccer League - Now known as the A-League) final when something almost exactly like this happened. We can't blame just one specific group of fans nor any specific club, we should just learn from these actions and understand that they are just as stupid as the people who started them.

that must have hurt Dida and given him quite a shock. i had a similar experience; today in physics class i got hit in the eye by a little rubber ball that flew across the class(we were doing an lab to find the relationship between centrifugal force and frequency). i couldnt see out of that eye for about 45mins and its still blurry. i can only imagine what it would have been like for Dida. that flare must have had a pretty high velocity.
