I don't feel that PSV gave us a "lesson in football". They certainly played better football, this night in particular and they certainly have my respect -- it was just not a great night for us. First, Maldini cops a full fledged boot to the back of the head and we were stuck with Kaladze in the second half. To me, the key was Seedorf, he is a great player, just over these two legs he has played extremely poorly. As soon as Jon Dahl Tommasson came on, he was able to help the midfield win the balls, pass it around etc.

That AC goal was all Kaka :D:D Kaka > PSV on that occasion :rockman:

As for "boring Italian football". It's beautiful calculated play, passing around, holding possesion and probing for those openings. It seems as though you don't hate "boring italian football", just italian teams - after all, they always seem to beat Manure. :boohoo:

Much respect to PSV and their fans, brilliantly played.

I think Italian football isn't boring. I honestly think that Juve and Milan are the only ones in Italy playing defensive. A perfect example is Inter, they play attacking football. Some guys judgements are based on what they see in CL, you should actually follow the Serie A.

PSV did deserved to go through, I knew that Milan would have problems when Maldini was subbed for Kaladze. PSV made Milan work hard, PSV worked hard through the whole game, they were tired in the end and that resulted in Ambrosini's goal, Milan chose the perfect moment, I think that they were lucky but they chose the perfect moment to score their much needed goal. You can call it quality if you want, they have done it a lot of times, so it isn't a coincidence. Milan's formation was to defensive in my opinion, that made it harder for them to counter attack or to push PSV back, it wasn't Milan's day, that was for sure and PSV almost took advantage of that, maybe a little bit of arrugance? Who knows....

haha Kaká assisted all three Milan's goal in this tie (H)

forget Jankulovski lets get Lee (H)

f*ck off dopes! Ancelotti played that way on purpose, he was saving up for the Juventus game (H) Juventus is obviously more important than PSV (H)

Lets get rid of extra time and away goals rule and everything so Milan can be eliminated! (H)

f*ck sakes! PSV were the better team but they didnt go through, I understand the PSV fans being upset. Why the others have to be dickheads as well? You just cant accept the fact that Milan are going to the final.

Meh, if you think Im writing crap, then I am, but who the f*ck cares!

cause Milan are through!!!!!!!! wooooo

Why should I watch the Serie A? I think the Eredivisie is much more entertaining than the boring italian tactics and defensive teams such Milan and Juve. They got some star players there, ok, but still i think Eredivisie is much better.

EDIT: I also like La liga, and south american football.

BUT HEY, THAT'S MY OPINION. THANK YOU!

Watched the match and PSV were in control. Football is a cruel game and it was evident again. Gomes however should have saved the header from Ambrosini and PSV would have gone into extra time.

this is very cruel for psv;they have played better than Ac Milan!!! they just lost concentration in last minutes of the match;they were very tired.they enormous space to Kaka and Gattuso in midfield!!!! Ambrosini was totally free for the header!!!

I'm not digging the attitude of some of the Milan fans here. Why can only the PSV fans be disappointed? It was clear for everyone to see that over the two ties, PSV played much better, PSV was the one going for the win. PSV deserved it more than Milan.

If the world sees Milan, a team much better on paper, win in the end, arguably undeserved, they're going to sympathize with the underdog. Just admit you were very, very lucky to get into the final, give PSV respect and leave it at that.

i was just watching the highlights.. and ambrosini's header should've been blocked by gomes.. it wasn't that hard, he got a finger to it but really should've put it away.. that must reaallly frustrate the psv fans...

I think it would be a shame if all the PSV fans turn on Gomes. He has kept them in matches especially the Monaco tie.

They won't. Gomes had two very long streaks of clean sheets this year, and only let in a few goals in the whole season.
You can't blame Gomes anyway for the space Ambrosini had to do what ever he wanted with that cross. Van Bommel was standing too close to Vogel, leaving Cocu and Alex to handle the three Milan players free in front of Gomes.

all the Milan fans are giving credit to PSV

problem is,

NO ONE GIVES CREDIT TO MILAN (esp the haters)

we played bad againts one team and suddenly we dont deserve the final.

We beat the Scottish champs, we beat the best of Ukraine, we beat the best team of the second half of 2004, Barca, we beat Man Utd, we beat Inter! Dammit!

Tell us that streak doesnt deserve the final.

Milan beat better teams than whoever PSV beat.

You know, people would be happy if it were the other way round if PSV played sh*t and got through.
